She definitely is not unaware going by the fact that she got questioned about it on Kwk. I think it is that she is delusional or the rumours are untrue

I like her as can be seen from the avi, that said I've always wondered like you why she stays.

She is a product of two generations of broken families. Even her grandmother on her mother's side was a divorcee. She was brought up by her gran and missed her mother lots. She has spoken enough about it.

What I think she wanted and what Ajay gives her is a two parent family. This is speculation of course but I think she always wanted kids and her version of a secure family for them which is two parents, mom at home and a joint family with grandparents. Her choices reflect that.

I don't know if the Ajay rumors are true of course, but I tend to believe them because they are consistent and I do believe most BW actors are cheat. In fact the more talented they are, the more douchy they seem to be in cases of cheating.

But here comes the gray area. Ajay is not all bad. In fact I think he gives her the security she craves which is a long marriage and he seems to be a good dad. What kind of kids will this produce ? If done right, it could produce kids like Abhishek and Shweta who seem quite normal, grounded and good people.

Kajol is no abla nari. I do believe she went into it with her eyes open knowing what she wanted and what she could live with. She comes from three generations of BW actors. She more than most knows how it is. She has made her choices like Jaya and lives with it. Is she happy and loves Ajay. I think so or else she is one hell of a actress in her best role yet. 😆

Or the whole thing is an act. Maybe she's choosing to portray a certain presentation of her marriage to the public. Though a lot of what CeaselessBanter below is saying makes sense as well.
