There are lot of speculation that Salim anarkali shall be played by Rajat and Paridhi
But I would prefer a fresh pairing
Because Anarkali if I am not wrong was a Russian/Absyssian and Paridhi does not look like one
The current child anarkali also does not truly suit the eternal beauty who can make a crown prince go weak on his knees and go against father Akbar and ready to give up his future throne. Anarakli itself is complex character imagine a dancing girl going against emperor to love a crown prince, the braveness and the inner strength to face an entire Mughal empire against her including Salim family, army and commoners etc it takes a different kind of guts. And to face so much pain and violence without giving up her love and lover it takes a person courage.
Second issue how can a girl friend of Salim look like his mother(when young) even if they change elder jodha to another actor
It shall be akward for viewers to see Salim romance a girl who looks like his mother
Also Paridhi has issues with doing romatic scenes and also I am not sure about her dancing skill
I think Sanjeeda Sheikh shall look great as anarkali she is very good dancer too and will look good in Mughal dress
Next comes Salim - Salim was a tall person more than 6 foot and thin if you see his portraits
Rajat may not suit physically to play Salim
Secondly doing double role is taxing on him
Thirdly Rajat as far as I know has already played only strong characters warriors role(although I have not watched it) which has demands of being serious and a bit lover boy. Salim is a very complex character in real history one minute he is snobbish next moment a caring person next moment he is in love another moment he is violent another moment challenging the emperor and entire Mughal empire and another time he will be begging mom to give him anarkali or nur jahan one moment he shall be jealous of his brothers and next moment he shall help them marry against Akbar wish to widows its a very very complex role to play. So pulling it off by any actor is a very big challenge. Ideally what they must do is recruit one person for child role another for teenage and third for adult and fourth guy to play emperor phase. May be than this role can be pulled off.
I am sure that SA will be repeat of JA with all fights, MU etc and finally love only here Akbar will refuse to allow marriage and rebellion

Not in real
As per novel 😊

I know her existence is a doubt and no evidence is there but many people think she really existed because of the movies and books based on her

many people I talked to refuse to believe she did not exist if I tell them
they say then how come film makers and writers etc can slander Akbar and Salim both emperors like that and how no one taking action if its not real and fictional, its not possible and hence they believe she existed

Better end the show after the big leap

What a shame it will be for parijat to have the same fate as ankita in PR!

Small Sa has already been harshlu welcomed..introducing the big ones will obvio lead to a war (which i deeply hope)

Enough of nonsense and fooling people with nonsense...
When they couldnt maintain a good storyline for an initially good show why to pain themselve in extending their massacres??

Personally better end this show than introducing SA as parijat!
Anyways the audience has already given up when small SA has been introduced...i imagine the pityless scenario with "big" SA
SA has already created a ruckus, showing big SA will obviosly lead to a war

I do not understand why they bring SA in JA? They should have ended with kid Salim ideally without anarkali in childhood
When they have slandered JA will they leave SA especially Salim who is like icing on cake for CVs
I was reading an article which said among all historical characters in south Asia salim and Jehangir has been most written about be it novels, books, poems, love affairs etc
I read a book about Akbar that was written that Salim was in love with one of his step sister and refused to allow her get married can anything be more slandering than that???? and Akbar and Salim had a fight over that. 😲
so if CVs start searching they shall get many more such novels to fill their serial 😡😲🥱

I have not seen anyone, except 1/2 people mentioning Anarkali. There is no "evidence" of her existence. All i found is that, she was a character in a fictional novel, on which was based the movie Mughal-e-Azam, and the glory of that movie furthered this story.

Baaki logon ka kya keh sakte hain... BTW, i don't understand, Jahangir had many things to do, in the time when it is said that he was busy with Anar..

Whom he loved.?. ;p If it was Anarkali, then how come he fell for Man Bai and Jodh Bai and Nur Jahan, and even Sahib Jamal, almost at the same time.!!! And if we see the timelines during which he fell for these ladies, Anarkali's character no where fixes in between, as he was consecutively with them in that time. Esp. Man Bai, Sahib Jamal and Jodh Bai fall in this early years of the timeline.😊

His love marriage was to sahib jamal and nur jahan rest all political weddings or arranged marriages
I doubt he loved man and jodh bai - they were his cousins and married to strengthen Mughal and rajputhana bond of course since they are cousins he was close to them but love I doubt he loved them like a lover. That kind of love was for sahib jamal and nur jahan whom he went against parents and society to marry at any cost
