But we will have time to talk about that but first of all I want to extend my congratulation to them for winning the best Jodi award at ITA. This is one of the proudest moments of our entire fandom. And I just wish I had words to explain what I am feeling. Seeing them up the stage with the smiles on face, cheered loudly by who's and who of entire tv industry it was like living through dream. Seeing them ecstatic yet so humble in light of such huge achievement followed by their own style of celebration through that impromptu barati dance reminded me why and how these two had became so close to our heart.
And then seeing Palki mam sitting there with her proud and yet moist eyes I was suddenly reminded how incredibly special this moment is for Vrushika and Shantanu. And how much odd they must have faced before arriving at this moment basking in its glory. Apart from choreography D3 have hardly gotten any nomination. In fact forget D3, this is the first that any couple or actor from channel V had won such huge prestigious award holding their own against shows from hard core entertainment channel like Star Plus and Zee. And this david vs goliath esque victory make this moment even more sweet and huge.
From overcoming the initial negativity, to slowly but steadily winning the hearts all around over next two years Shantanu and Vrushika have came a long way. Mesmerizing us with their portrayal of Swayam and Sharon and their love saga on screen; to amusing us with their antics offscreen - they had given us lot of moments to cherish and remember. And award tonight feels like appreciation of their efforts and most importantly acknowledgement of the fact which every VruShan knew from way back that they are THE BEST JODI. Good to see rest of world to recognizing that too. All I could say is that these two have barely scratched the surface of their potential. Expect a lot of things from them.
From shouting hell yeah on learning about them winning the award to questioning myself and other - did it really happened to finally witnessing the moment tonight - these last two weeks had been surreal as a VruShan fan. And I would love to live through this again. So hoping and praying this is first of the many such glorious moments to come in Vrushika's and Shantanu's life and wishing them all the best for their future endeavors. And yeah congratulations to them once again.
