The culprit is somone that knows kuki kaki being blind. Kruthi mentioned in some post about it and i think she is right....At the time of Kuki Kaki wondering around the jungle she comes across the rapist. The rapist is shown washing his face and he gets startled by kuki kaki but doesn't run away. He slowly masks his face. ...and moves away. This must be one of the reasons they showed the scene of saloni intrducing abhi to kuki kaki at the mandir.
I am not sure if its the FIL because when they show the shadows of the pape scene, the rapist is thin and his body structure is similar to abhi.
