The Shahenshah-e-Hind who entered the story with a bang, who slowly began to disappear with the entry of Tasneem, who further diluted with the entry of Benazir, who was totally unrecognizable in the Mathura tracks and mirchi war,who was at his nadir in TodarMal affair and who crawled his way back with the atifa story and stood tall and majestic in AK's death, now looks like a real real Shahenshah-e-hind...⭐️ - regal and majestic as a king and a lovable husband and a caring father...but the first avtar taking predominance - resembling the real Akbar.👏
Now this is exactly what the Jallad Jalal would have grown into...but the intermediate Jalal was such an unrecognizable marshmallow at times and such a let down to Akbar's persona.
His sudden change into Jodha's verbal punchbag post Mohan, was a jerk in the flow of things as much as his current sudden shift to His Imperial Highness Abba Huzoor... we can account for it only as due to his maturing during the 15 yr gap and his shift and focus as a king taking precedence over every other aspect of his.
Jodha's softness and pampering of Salim is understandable. A mother who has lost 2 children dumps every other aspect of her personality and dedicates herself only to the child for a good many years. But when she is not with Salim can't she be shown handling Spice trade or any other MUZ duty instead of making Rangolis?
Just as we had to assume for a good many episodes that Jalal was handling the affairs of his Sultanate well and we were just not shown, seems that we have to assume that MUZ is also busy with her duties and we are not shown.
When we had Jalal as the protagonist, it was fine with Jodha as his better half. But wiith Shahenshah-e-Hind as the protagonist, it will be good only to have MUZ as his better half. Really hope that Jodha is not let down as Jalal was between Tasneem and Atifa tracks.
As for Ruqs, with her drug peddling, she has gone beyond repair and beyond defense . But well, she will stay and scheme and add the villain quotient of the story. But it is to be seen if she will redeem herself or repent or do some teeny weeny good at all which will let Akbar give her Shah Jahan to raise.
