well honestly TRP thing is totally a mysterious thing for me. if strong woman really matters then shows like jhansi ki rani or ek hasina thi would have been at the top. TRPs come from sbs & drama & honestly a strong hero obviously cant bring sbs. the real historical shows without OTT drama never get huge numbers. whether its MP or veer shivaji. there r many shows on air which i feel why they r getting gud numbers????

I will add later but I do have a Q for all of you - When will ppl stop using a 21st century urbanised lens while watching a 16th century show ???????

Not a 21st century lens Adi, but the heroine lens.
The hero even if an Emperor can be shown weak and weepy but the heroine HAS to be strong always.
Anyone good to the heroine is good. Anyone bad to her is bad...including the hero.
Salima is the perfect example. As long as she was Jo's cheerleader she was praised to the skies. The minute she supported Ruqaiyya's demand for Hussein, she was blasted. When Murad called her Ammijaan she was daayanised. Only now has she been let off the hook.
During the Tasneem track, I remember a comment that said - see Jodha, she is so selfless. She is thinking only of the poor girl. Ruqaiya is so selfish that she is thinking of her marriage and not the plight of the girl.
Kya kahein, on the bias and adulation of every serial heroine. It has become a fashion these days.

ya salima became characterless why??? bcoz maybe she had slept with her own husband. ruku was thinking about her marriage. but now jodha is also doing the same. she is only thinking about salim & not tht boy & his grandma. but now jodha is a mother so she can do anything. if jalal is polite with ruku, he is selfish, but if jodha is polite to ruku she is kind hearted. if jalal is weak its not a big issue but if jodha weak thts the national crisis. look i want both to be strong but my only point is reactions should be same in both the cases.
