What are the reasons you attribute for a failed or not so strong MUZ - Salim relationship ?

Akbarname for sure is shameless flattery - It does not talk about even apprehensions of Akbar's decisions by others in court.

Salim basically had many issues with Akbar be it the less time he gave him,wanting salim to do as he planned his life be it love, marriage or career like going to war field at an age a kid would expect to enjoy playing, further complications arose when Akbar would listen to his coterie and ignore salim and give more responsibility to murad and daniyal, Akbar's taking abul fazl advice in everything and taking decisions against what salim wanted etc.

When a child especially son has issues with father in any family its the mother who negotiates peace between both and obviously one person has to bend to bring peace. MUZ or Hira Kunwari supported Akbar or kept too quiet did not bother to broker peace or negotiate etc between father and son. Here I think salim got angry that his mom was unilateral on his fathers side never tried brokering peace or understanding his viewpoint. It was always an hamida or salima and ruqaiah who would plead on his behalf to Akbar and try to broker peace. They only helped him become emperor too by supporting him instead of khusrau. That may be one great reason why salim had no great realtion with Muz immediately before and during his rebellion. Salim was an emotional man who think from heart not practically so his mother not supporting him and understanding his viewpoint against daddy may have made him get angry at muz. Its a natural child reaction because always child expect mom support to them not even to daddy when they have fights.

Salim was basically more artistic by nature than a great politican or administrator. He was more interested in exploring nature, plants and animals than being a prince or emperor. Here also as a prince a small kid may be he was introduced to war and other responsibility too young in life. He could not truly enjoy his childhood like a daniyal or a Rahim who did not go to war field etc till 16 years or older. That is why Salim lost interest in remaining an emperor early on in life. By the age of 45 he handed day to day ruling to nur jahan and shah jahan and enjoyed more his passion like painting, nature, flowers because he was clearly bored of it.

He burned out by then because from age of 7-8 he was at war field or other works. So he already worked 38 years of his life except a few years of lazying around during his rebellion stage etc. And Jehangir never went to war unnecessarily he did not bother kingdom expansion much. So he was not that interested to go to battle till someone do not rebel or challenge his authority. Although he was a very good strategist and warrior in battle field look how he crushed Khusrau rebellion or Khurram rebellion etc. So he was not a dumb commander or a scared soldier he was good at it but only when provoked or challenged he would get active.

So many long comments I thought no one is intrested in it @myviewprem thanks for giving such information agree there is so much hype in this serial regarding Akbar n Jodha n thier family's good relationship admit Akbar was great but due to his techniques of ruling n dealing empire not dealing with his family ...n Salim Murad Daniyal was not very responsible persons it's clear

Ok cvs you can show your leads as great human beings but there is facts too ...
