they do not write great things about Akbar the great

But modern history takes only abul fazl accounts more into consideration to know about Akbar and abul fazl worked for Akbar so we cannot consider all he wrote as gospel truth.

and you will realize Salim would have revolted once big it was waiting to happen

Forget Salim even daniyal and murad were no great father loyal sons they also had their shares of nafarmani's once they are big and away from father's gaze

and salim got abul fazal killed because he felt that guy was speaking against him to Akbar

When Salim was 25-26 Akbar got violently ill and at that time was not getting well so abul fazl had suggested that salim may have poisoned Akbar in front of Akbar and others. Salim never forgave him. Salim had many other issues with Abul Fazl where Akbar listened to him and decided not in favour of Salim

But if you think Salim was only one against abul fazl that is wrong. Even his other sons and daughters and other family members had issues with him because Akbar would listen a lot to his advice and not his family members.

And here they show murad having issues with salim that is again not true. There have been cases where murad had issues handling his responsibility and command and salim had gone to help him set things right, same way when salim revolted against Akbar from 1599 to 1603 murad still exchanged cordial letters with him. So it was not all jealousy and hatred as shown in serial lest people think this is real history.

Akbar was a great politician cum warrior cum administrator but he definitely failed as family man whether with wives, kids etc that can be understood by reading the writings of other contemporaries.

So this serial cannot be truly considered as real history. Salim did not have great relation with Akbar in adult life and neither with mom MUZ. It was hamida he was closest to in real life and then his siblings and his milk brother qutubuddin koka.

To some extent you can same Jehangir loved nur jahan a lot and gave her many powers than even 21st century men shall hesitate to give today

and shah jahan to some extent loved mumtaz but was scared to show it openly after how the world thought of his father for giving absolute freedom to his lover cum wife nur jahan and obviously turned a womanizer once she died after mourning for her

But these are all childhood friendships and love so they last longer than adult loves because apart from being wife and lover that girl is your childhood friend who knows you inside out and you know her inside out no pretences of adult life. Its in childhood you are most pure and behave as you wish once you become big you learn to hide your true self. So childhood friends who turn lovers they truly know you inside out unlike other wives.
