Another point I'd like to make, is from a legal standpoint, since we're pulling out legal documents here, lol, when you're excusing someone of sexual harassment, a big part of he defendants case can be built on character witnesses. Same with prosecution. If we were to legally have a case filed, with Sonali accusing Ali of sexual harassment, the following could be, and should be used as character assassination in the defendants favor:
- promiscuous behavior of Sonali
- nighttime video footage of Sonali under cover with various men
- statement of women in room at time, who were not partaking in activities with men
- statement of defendant, who denies any touch, as he could claim he wasn't sure who he touched, as it was cold, he wanted the blanket on him
If you were on the jury if this case, and such evidence is provided to you, what would your judgement be? Mind you, you cannot be making a decision on circumstantial evidence. We're in a legal court here. Lol.
Such cases rely heavily on the behavior of the accuser. Even if it is a valid claim, if the accuser can be maligned, or shown to have low morals, such cases can be thrown out of court.
Edit: also, please include ulterior motive of accuser. In this case, accuser was nominated for eviction by defendant. This could be a motive for false accusation.
