no... due to his nature, few ministers were against him to become next king... his all time lust for women, and excessive drinking ws against him... even Akbar never liked it... and his opposition was mostly, Maan sing and Aziz Koka, and i think even Abul Fazl...

all of them felt Khusro , salim's elder son was better choice as next King after Akbar... and even Akbar had started considering that aspect... so Salim went against his father

later it's said to be salima or Ruku who patched up father and son

what was followed in movie?? there was no Ruku, no salima when they were his chief queens...

neither movie, nor our show is 100 % right as per history... and i think we shouldn't expect that...

coz there r many versions who call themselves true history... so better watch and enjoy, or watch and forget we watched it
