i agree to 99% of what you said ramas.........i guess brijesh was trying to protect his family?..........yeah.......the problem is the society is flawed hence, pia has to go through this display of stupidity and uncalled for humility.

when is brijesh going to wake up and start taking charge of his family?

I disagree with Brijesh's attitude thats the provincial mindset.

And precisely the point Raksha, I wanted to drive across in my earlier post and here too.The act of raping is a crime, the rapist is the criminal its got nothing to do with the victim. Then why let the same unfair attitude perpetuate through generations? Why shd the victim be unnecessarily looked down? The victim has not done any heinous crime and is the sufferer actually. All the despise the society showers on the vicitm is actually supposed to be for the rapist but unfortunately becoz if such prevalent mindsets the legal recourse is never undertaken and the rapist goes scott free. Thats what Saloni says we need to change with the times.

I totally disagree with Brijesh, And how does that man who stopped Pia from going in the temple know that Pia has been raped??? So what's the point in hiding the truth when the society already knows about it??? And how did they know it??? Will they stop the culprit from entering the temple???

I totally agree with Saloni. Whenever a rape happens always the woman is being held responsible, she is considered impure, for her whole life she has a stigma whereas she didn't do anything.
The culprit is being prisoned for some years, after he gets released from jail, he can go further with his live and he's being accepted again in the society because they think that he's got his punishment.
But I think no punishment is enough for rape.
