He's right.

Deepika always had a star quality and great screen presence even when she was being wooden on screen and choosing not so great scripts. It is what enabled her to survive the industry until she matured as an actor in Cocktail IMO. She would have been tossed out a long time ago if she did not have that quality about her.

I don't know if I agree with him. She was always in the news for the wrong reasons eg who she was dating. I was never really interested in her. Only now days I see people interested in her because she's successful. She's def a star now..but after OSO..no one really cared about Deepika IMO.

I guess that's BW. The industry is really selfish. SLB said that after HDDCS and Devdas everybody wanted to talk to him but after Guzaarish no body even contacted him for 2 months. It's really fickle. They change their attitude according to the person's success.

word👏 in bw as in showbiz u r as good as ur last performance!, but i think dp was praised [or i enjoyed her performance] even in lafangey p, break ke baad, as well. Ppl say this post-cocktail dp, success, acclaim n all, but i liked her then as well, but bcame a fan last yr, but i agree wid both u guys, the ppl or critics so to say pay attention to her now more than ever
