The Partner actor reveals how he ended up doing Shaad Ali's upcoming film...

Govinda will be seen alongside Ranveer Singh, Parineeti Chopra and Ali Zafar in Shaad Ali's directorial venture Kill Dil. Just a few days back, the trailer of the film was released and it garnered good reviews. But what's interesting is that it was Govinda who grabbed the attention courtesy his villainous avatar. Though the talented actor has played a baddie once before, this time he seems to have nailed the part. However, initially Govinda wasn't keen on doing the Yash Raj film. When we caught up the actor he confessed that it was his wifey Sunita Ahuja who convinced him to do this Ranveer-Parineeti starrer.

The actor-turned-producer told us, "Yes, she convinced me and said ki jo kaam aa raha hai woh luck se aa raha hai. She said,'Don't sit at home and go out. Don't wait for your films to get released'.Meri teen chaar badi films release hone wali thi but woh stuck ho gayi. So I went out, did the film

When he signed the movie, he said it was Aditya Chopra who convinced him. Now it's his own wife. I must agree with DVder. Excuse, excuse, and excuse.
