Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Ye Written Update
October 15th
Sanjay decides to call off the engagement, despite protest from Garima. He tells her that he needs time and he can't rush into this. Shobha tries to reason with Sanjay saying that a marriage is between two people but fails to convince him. He leaves from there. Garima also leaves upset. Shobha sees Vikram laughing over this and gets angry with him. She overhears his conversation with Saurabh, where Saurabh thanks him for instigating Sanjay to call off the engagement. Vikram says that there's nothing wrong with doing a good deed that'll benefit everyone.
Outside Garima is sitting in her car, virtually upset over what happened. Tarun sees this as an opportunity and tells Ajay to go and give a shoulder to Garima. Ajay seizes the opportunity and gets into the car with Garima where he starts giving her advice. Tarun offers to give Shobha a ride but Shobha refuses saying that she'll go in someone else's car. She notices Vikram getting into his car and quickly rushes to stop him.
Shobha chastises Vikram for spoiling the engagement, whereas Vikram is amused. He sticks to the fact that it was a good thing the engagement stopped and continues to taunt Shobha. This irritates her even further and she asks him what does he know about her. For that Vikram taunts her even further saying that he's speaking to a corrupt politician's wife. Shobha is about to leave when Vikram stops her and says he has something to tell her. He tells them it's not fair to get two people married without even knowing if they are ready for such a commitment. And then when things go wrong, we fail to see our fault in it and just blame the couple for their lack of understanding.
Shobha refuses what he's saying and gets annoyed. Vikram decides to pick on the fact that she is not happy in her marriage with Samarth. He asks her to explain what went wrong in her life. Shobha doesn't know what to say and leaves from there.
Nani has her friends over and there's a kitty party going on. Vikram walks into the house and blocks his ears. He tells her to stop the party. Nani argues saying that today is Saturday. She tells him not to spoil her party and tells him to go to his room. She enquires about the engagement. Vikram tells her the engagement got cancelled. He complains about Shobha to Nani. Nani gets excited thinking that Vikram might finally get hooked, but he tells her the irritating girl was Samarth's wife. Nani tells him that there's still more to happen and goes back to her party.
Garima is crying her room. Shobha comes to console her and tells that she can't be crying like this, that too over a boy. She says that she understands things will be difficult but crying won't make a difference. Shobha praises Garima saying she was with her during her tough phase, and now she can't be the one sulking over this. Shobha also explains that while love is a powerful feeling, we can't expect things to go our way all the time. In the end it is in our hands to adjust with the situation.
Shobha cheers Garima saying that she's so smart and pretty, and that if Sanjay doesn't understand then it's only his loss. She suggests that everyone gets ice cream. They spend the rest of the night enjoying their ice creams.The next morning Jia wakes Shobha up for work. Garima brings hot water for Shobha so that it'll help burn all the calories from the ice cream they had the previous night.
Vikram and Shobha are in their respective cars, on the way to the office. Shobha has a flashback of her and Samarth when things were fine between them. Due to this she forgets to move her vehicle. Vikram, who is right behind her, starts yelling. He gets down from his car and sees Shobha's car's number plate. At that moment, Shobha leaves from there before Vikram can see her face. Vikram gets annoyed.
Shobha reaches the office before Vikram. When Vikram arrives he recognizes the number plate of Shobha's car. He is irritated that her car is parked in his parking spot. Later on, Vikram asks Mahesh to send the new secretary to his cabin. He is determined that the new secretary remains. Vikram smells jasmine in his cabin and starts sneezing. He throws it out of the window and tries to keep it open because the doctor suggested it's good to get natural air. He's struggling with the window when Shobha walks in and introduces herself. Vikram, without looking at her, calls her to come and help him. While both are struggling with the window they finally see each other and are shocked. Vikram tells her that she's fired, while she looks at him astonished.
PRECAP: Shobha is having a conversation with her MIL, when her MIL shows her a notice. It says that Samarth is being punished for his corruption.
