Item girl Meghna Naidu as Mumtaz Mahal!

DJ Vipin has earlier remixed bhajans and has also done a remix of Vande Mataram. Now this young DJ is all set to remix the famous and evergreen Bollywood Taj number Ek Shahenshah Ne Banwake Ke Ye Haseen Taj Mahal to celebrate Taj's victory.

When we contacted Meghna, she said, "I knew Vipin personally but I never thought that he will cast me as Mumtaz Mahal. He spotted me at the Taj's victory party and decided to finalize me. I still don't know who my Shahjehan in the video will be and what will I wear but I'm sure it will be something that will make me look authentic.

I am very excited that I have got the opportunity to get associated with the Taj somehow. I love the Taj as it has been crafted with love, by someone in love and is dedicated to love. Also, it is one of the monuments which makes every Indian proud."

She also added, "I along with all my friends voted for the Taj and we are very happy with the results. We are relieved that our time and votes did not go waste."

Meghna's upcoming movie Riwaaz is slated for an August release. She is playing the lead and, for a change, it is not a glamorous role.
