Yash Raj Films has been very protective about its film Fan with Shahrukh Khan, but a few interesting nuggets about the movie's plotline have leaked out.

Imagine this scene: Superstar Shahrukh Khan celebrating his birthday at his palatial residence Mannat with fans. The crowd is euphoric, and one of them is the superstar's lookalike, a fan named Rahul.

This imagination could well be the opening scene of director Maneesh Sharma's film 'Fan' for which SRK has already started shooting.

Going by the info that has leaked out from the sets, the movie has Shahrukh Khan in a double role, one of a superstar and the other of his lookalike fan.

Shahrukh Khan to have two heroines in Fan'

The film is being described as a comedy of errors revolving around mistaken identities. We won't be surprised if the lookalike fan and the superstar swap places and get to live each other's lives for some days in the movie.

For the introduction scene depicting Shahrukh Khan's birthday, a replica of Mannat will reportedly be put up at Film City Studio in Mumbai.

'Fan' is currently on the floors and will hit theatres on August 14, 2015.
