Both Savita and Rushali were wrong.
However, the big difference is that Archana was away from her kids more bcos of her own mistakes than Savita's.
It was shown that in the 20 years, Archana had been in touch with Vandu. Archana could have easily asked about her kids, contacted Manav and tried to reconcile etc. Just bcos he went away to America does not mean he is gone forever. Still Archana did not even know how her kids looked, she wasn't able to recognise Teju as her daughter.
Manav too believed his mother that Archana wanted divorce for money rather than her husband and daughters (yeah, the same Archana who loved being poor and living in that chawl and treated money as evil) and never contacted her again.
Savita had personal issues with Archana but somewhere it is also true that she was trying to safeguard her family- Manav and the two daughters as Archana's actions by that time had made everyone against her--- not only had she dragged Manav in court claiming he was fraud but also Soham was gone bcos of her. Savita created misunderstandings between Archana and Manav but did not separate Archana from her kids the way Rushali did to Ankita, who had no knowledge about her child all these years as she was told she had a still born.
Ovi-Teju staying away from Archana all these years was bcos of a combined set of fallacies of Archana-Manav and Savita. And all these years when Archana had not bothered about her daughters, Savita had been the one taking care of them and giving them love.
In this case however, Rushali was aware of the baby first, but was not concerned about the baby then as she did not want anything to do with Ankita or the baby- she had Pari and Naren was happy so that was all that mattered to her. She managed to convince Ankita to hide her relationship and pretty much everything else citing Naren's health problems and Ankita foolishly agreed and went through all hardships alone during her pregnancy. Rushali had no concern for the child at that point of time. Only when she realised Pari could never be a mother again and Pari-Naren were breaking apart cos of strain in relationship, she suddenly selfishly wanted Ankita's child for her son, and for that she STOLE Ankita's child replacing it with a dead baby. Neither Ankita nor Naren had any knowledge of anything till the very end, and Ankita lived those years crying about her dead baby.
