its not funny when i ask it..
if i am arguing with someone, and the person is rude and makes me angry, does that mean i will throw my cell phone at his head ?

I mean physical hona zaruri hai kya ?

i was discussing with someone where it was mentioned that arzoo is written in a very shoddy way to show female empowerment which is wrong i feel..

For example, no way a girl would be that much insensitive to throw a cell phone at someone like that.. then again even in the promo the dialogue she said " hum kapde isiliye nahi pehentey k aapki akho ko thandak de sakey ", from that perspective a worker in a fashion house doesnt need to be polished and representative ? obviously she needs to, and who does with the boss ?

Cwriters have seriously missed to show conviction on why arzoo behaves insensitive and somewhat immune to her surrounding.. I dont know what holds in the future..

Bina sochey show dekh ya atleast kam se kam soch ke yehi acha hai

Remember arzo threw her cell on his car too ... I wonder if she bought a new one ya its a nokia lol

As for that ankhoun ki thandak line it honestly put me off as a woman ... Just because i dress modestly does not mean i get a license to tag everyone else who dresses differently as cheap enough to do it for someone's ankhoun ki thandak. But thats how dialogue writers usually portray female chars, which is unfortunate

thank u for the reply eventhough i had discussed with u about this ..lol

my point is whatever the arguement is no way a normal person just throws a metallic device on someone's head .. thats insensitive.. i understand CVs are trying to project it as funny or cute, but i find it hard to digest , and esp if it hits his head.. I am sure if the same way Sahir would behave, i would say the same thing.. its just not valid to physically hurt someone if u lost an arguement..

@bold:- +1 ... in hindi shows writers define ideal woman as the ones who preach independence and decency no matter how much they insult or derogate other's privacy and opinion .. its plane sad and i donno if they show Sahir wrong because he is logically correct then i can only..

He struck her where it hurt the most! He went to her father and we already know she is very sensitive about him. It def wasnt the smartest move as Sahir is going to make sure he gets even for it. I am not saying she was right she could have faced serious consequences had it seriously injured him.

but does sahir know about her past ? NO.. i agree he was being badtameez, but then arzoo could have replied her verbally.. how does that justify her this act ? No it doesnt really..

well lets see how it moves forward

Very good point, Sundas...

The problem with Indian TV is that when they show women liberation or a strong woman character they make it OTT... They can be shown as mentally strong... trying to counter moves with mind games and their intellect and not by resorting to cheap verbal banter and physical moves... And when she (or he) gets physical then they have to be ready to face the repercussions... why gladly did not come in this case but can happen... how much does Arzoo knows Sahir (or the other characters) to behave like this...😕 why invite so much trouble...

Deviating a little from the topic...
There are so many illogical things that I have ignored, hoping that things would improve in future...

First of it was when the factory gets burnt, arzoo's family is not much affected by it, even though the factory was arzoo's mom's life (that is what we were told about it...) and at one point of time Arzoo was willing to give her life (by sleeping in front of the bulldozer)... but when it is burnt, there are hardly any emotions and they party, buy gifts etc etc...

Secondly, there was no need to show the terrorism thing at the airport... wonder what the CVs achieved by showing it... They could have shown Sahir-Arzoo nok-jhok or jhadga even otherwise... wonder what they want to show... It was pretty lame.

Third, Alvira has arranged for everything for Arzoo at her place even gifting her an expensive dress, why did she not send a car to pick arzoo up at the airport??? 😕

Fourthly, Arzoo's family does not have enough money to buy dupatta for her sis etc etc... but Madam is happily throwing her phone at one and all... 😆

I have a whole lot of other rants... but restraining myself... Hope the CVs pull up their socks soon... else they will lose the audience
