They board may be slow. But I love the fact that there are some excellent writers here. 😃

Sure as hell hope Arzoo hurling the phone is not depicted/considered as a sign of women empowerment. It is anything but. Pushing Zaki off and not turning into a damsel in distress with a typical 'bhagwaan ke liye mujhe chod do' sent out a stronger message, if any. For a change, the female lead is a bit flawed here. She can be impulsive... need not be always right. Hope she does not turn all mahaan later.

+1 .. i just love to read anything u write, as its so precise and well written..

@bold:- thats my biggest fear now, that where are the CVs going ? as u said if they show it as her flaw which she will overcome when she faces bigger challenges in life, then i am ok with it, but if they show all these only to show that Sahir is the virtually wrong person whereas arzoo is the great women with all the bravery acts then i donno how will i feel..

Sun... this post was much needed.. thanks baccha for coming up with it 🤗

Thankuu... glad you like it.

The CVs will instill fear in us time and again... we have been there n done that... remember SB?... we have seen worse. Hope it's not the same here and it works out as we wish...Hope is all we have sweetheart... n tu wali shakl na rakh... Sahir bhi ho jayega.

Ye le 🤗 ab pool scene dekh aur kar bacchha.

If u ask me as much i enjoyed the scene ... i will agree Aarzoo's acting like that was very immature...ur angry okey., but ur reaction depends on the person in front...Sahir's a stranger with merely 2-3 encounters...even if ur acting on impulse u shout u throw ur cell on ground with frustration or throw things around u here n there but u don't act as if u daily fight with the person so that u can throw anything u get...the writers do their job well ...but sometimes they mistook viewers as some1 who take everything they write n expect us to not to make sense...

its not funny when i ask it..

if i am arguing with someone, and the person is rude and makes me angry, does that mean i will throw my cell phone at his head ?

I mean physical hona zaruri hai kya ?

i was discussing with someone where it was mentioned that arzoo is written in a very shoddy way to show female empowerment which is wrong i feel..

For example, no way a girl would be that much insensitive to throw a cell phone at someone like that.. then again even in the promo the dialogue she said " hum kapde isiliye nahi pehentey k aapki akho ko thandak de sakey ", from that perspective a worker in a fashion house doesnt need to be polished and representative ? obviously she needs to, and who does with the boss ?

Cwriters have seriously missed to show conviction on why arzoo behaves insensitive and somewhat immune to her surrounding.. I dont know what holds in the future..

Nice questions- important ones!😊

This is what I felt:

1. Arzoo throwing things:She is not violent or insensitive. But she does get into a fit of anger. Her temper was mentioned in the first epi itself...it is quite notorious.

As for it hitting Sahir's head- He stepped on a nerve there...and this was the knee jerk reaction- completely on a spinal level...she did not mean to hurt him, but she wants to put a point across- DO NOT RUB SALT ON MY WOUNDS. Unfortunately when that wound has been freshened by his claims, she cannot see beyond the pain of her abandoned childhood. It matters to her a lot that her abbu left her just because she and her sisters turned out to be girls...it is shameful of her abbu and painful for her. If U have ever been discriminated against for being a woman, U might get her point better.😳

And I just took it as- she did not aim it at its head- it just happened to hit him...😆

2. Aapki aankhon ko thandak line: Arzoo does not mind her sister wearing such clothes...which means she does not judge people on what they wear. That does not mean she will dress up for any man...it is her right to dress the way she wants...Sahir has no rights to demand such a thing of her...it is a basic right to dress the way U want...If women should be allowed to wear jeans in colleges...the same thing about freedom is applicable to work also.😳 She does not have to stick to a dress code- unless she is required to wear a uniform.

@bold:- agreed.. and i like that thing, for a change , we dont have a female lead who oozes perfection in every frame but is more like a human with anger issues, and flaws ...

saba, writers are confusing us .. i am still not over with the fact that they didnt show a solo scene of sahir after the factory blast, nothing.. neither arzoo had anykind of heartbreak..lol

and rest of the things i agree, i understand sahir had digged out her deepest wound of father issue, but then he is a stranger and he doenst know about it.. whatever black past sahir has, if arzoo unknowingly digs that out will sahir hit her head with a danda ? tauba i dont think so..😆

but sahir didnt point out discrimantion issues, and moreover he is unknown of the fact and the baggage that arzoo holds from her past.. i dont know how does that justify arzoo's recation from sahir's perspective... and no the wound wasn't freshened, but just reinforced by constant mentioning, becos in the morning itself arzoo's mother talks with her about her abbu who didnt show up to recieve her in mumbai.. i think unless we watch the episode, its hard to conclude but dicuss 😳

i think u dint get my point, arzoo telling sahir about his eyes thandak is not cheapening women but sahir again.. it does come of as for his pleasure he has asked her to dress otherwise while he was bossing around ..😆.. i just dont like the on the face lectures to prove facts that too with such lines, dialogues could have been better to say the least..
@red:- i slightly disagree, every work place has a dress code, atleast in my place, that comes off with the reputation and stature of the place where somebody works, sometimes if u dont dress up formally and well u are outright rejected in the interview viva sessions itself..
