If hero dare to hold a female lead roughly its manhandling, physical abuse and what not.(I agree it is)
But almost every second heroine is shown being physical; slapping or throwing stuff!!!
Mard ko dard nhi hota. I guess writers has taken this dialogue too seriously.
On a serious note ths so called portray of women empoverment is hurting core concept of gender equality. An adult, show such antics like Arzoo when they are weak enough to lose an argument.

But sometimes, people can ascribe different meanings to your words...and u r misunderstood. If that dialogue sounded offensive to more than one person here, obviously Arzoo has been misunderstood...doesn't that happen to all of us?

Totally agree chicken soup, sorry whats your name if thats ok, my name is nabila or just bila😊

Also @ddbuddy about the hurting women empowerment thing, i dont think it is tbh, its good to see women portrayed 3 dimensionally. Also what does it mean to be an adult, well a lot of things but it doeant mean you have to be serious 24\7. Im 19 and have and met people and frienda who act in all sorts of way. E.g watch graham norton with hugh jackmen, james mcavoy or michael fassbender, they are grown men but they act hilariously, look at female celebraties and comedians are they are hurting empowerment when you see interviews and or shows or just look at ordinary people. Reality would suggest otherwise, people are complex and weird

Also people call out on both for men and women no one is saying men cant feel pain, though the heroes are contantly defended compared to heroines. Its a definite flaw she has.

I have absolutely no problem in being HILARIOUS or I am not against anyone who act in different sort of way.Being adult means you are responsible for your deed. Be naught, flirty, loud, OTT whatever you want unless it harm others cause just like you everyone else has some rights.

My point is that when you lose temper that to an extent that you become violent and don't give daam about dangerous reaction of your INSENSITIVE, IRRESPONSIBLE actions, You are WEAK FELLOW. Darling Emotional intelligence is more important than I.Q and If I am not wrong Arzoo is suppose to be a Strong Women at least that is what I have been reading all along.

And what I wanted to say was that a girl throwing things at people and being voilent is not a way to potray women empowerment. And sorry I dont agree that heroes are more defended then heroines. Just suppose if Sahir would be the one throwing mobile at Arzoo then reaction would be much more strong from audience.

Bila,
Call me soup...😆

DD buddy,

Arzoo is not strong in that sense at all. She will never forgive her father. Her family speaks of her bad temper. She is weak enough to get paralysed when her stunt in front of the factory backfires...she almost lost her life there...

By strong, if U meant a female lead who cannot go wrong, Arzoo is in no way that. She is flawed...like most of us are..

She is judgemental...sensitive..emotional...unforgiving...and at times to stupid enough to be quick to jump to conclusions...and in an emotional moment where she was reminded of the shame her family was subjected to, for being the wrong sex...she OVER REACTED...and it was only a mobile she flung in the general direction of Sahir.😉😆 Too bad it hit him on his head.😲 Aur nuksaan bhi kiska hua? Sahir's skull is fracture free😃...Arzoo will have to get a new mobile.😭😆

Don't worry, if it was a metal or glass vase in her hand, she wouldn't have thrown it.😉 The day she does, we will make her answerable.😆

I think the writers are trying to pitch in characteristics of the female character of Zindagi Gulzar Hai to Humsafars since this show is supposedly inspired by it. Now that I've seen few episodes I do see certain similarities between Arzoo and Kashaf (ZGH female character) but so far Arzoo's behaviour is not quite justified properly compared to Kashaf

Plus there are so many loopholes like the swapped luggage. God knows how she manages herself without her toiletries, clothes etc. Writers really need to do something and fix these loopholes

''It was only a mobile she flung in THE GENERAL DIRECTION of sahir'' its your point of you and I respect it. But medically speaking ONLY A MOBILE if hits skull can cause serious danger. But we should wait for metal or glass vase, then only we can make someone accountable.

I suppose this comparison between Kashaf and Arzoo is the reason I couldn't digest Arzoo otherwise Its a typical Indian heroine nothing odd😆 Kashaf was fiery yet brainy. Ambitious yet calm and collective.

I know right!! I love Kashaf and finally saw a female character who's confident, driven and collective as you've mentioned. Gul's version is not there yet sadly

^ Huh? But would anybody report it? It's not like we've bashed anybody and it's just sharing one's point of view in an ethical way 😕 Besides I read in some articles that this show is inspired by that Pakistani show so obviously comparisons are bound to happen
