1. Jagdamba Shaktishali played by Himani Shivpuri :
She portrays the role of Nani who is very witty in nature. She believes in the concept of 'Ghar Jamai' and makes her every son-in-law a ghar jamai by making them believe to fulfill their dreams. Her some signature dialogues are "beta chant..humara matlab hai beta Chintu, tum se na ho payega, Badelal..".
2. Panna Lal Shaktishali played by Pawan Mehendru :
He portrays the role of Nanaji and fears his wife a little as she married him at the tip of the gun. Always creates one or the other problem. His one of the signature dialogue is "pata nahi Jagdambe ke dimag mei kya chal raha hai".
3. PK Vigyan Shaktishali played by Mohammad Iqbal :
He portrays the role of Eldest jamai. He has a amnesia problem but remembers only two things: his mother-in-law and her promise to send him to NASA. Always tries to make something new in his lab but fails most of the time. His one of the signature line is "aap mohtarma kaun hai".
4. Sundari Shaktishali played by Shefali Rana :
She portrays the role of naniji's only daughter. Good at heart and always try to prove herself capable in the eyes of her mother but is very tensed at the same time due to her husband's amnesia problem. Her signature lines are "Maiya..hum koshish kare or hey kunj bihari phir gai mati maari".
5. Mahan Kapoor Shaktishali played by Shiv Mishra :
He portrays the role of elder jamai. He is actor by profession but does mimicry rather than acting. Always tries to prove himself superior in the eyes of naniji. His signature dialogue is "Jaani..hum bhi ek din actor bankar dikhayenge".6. Lolly Shaktishali played by Sunaina Shukla :
She portrays the role of Sundari's elder daughter. She is fond of bollywood movies. Loves her husband and daughter dearly. Her one of the signature line is "kya lag rahe ho Mahanji..Amitabh Bachan se thoda kam aur Nana Patekar se thoda zyada".7. Monika Shaktishali played by Pearl Chandra :
She portrays the role of Mahan & Lolly's daughter. She is the youngest and the most loving member of the family. Loves everyone in the house and shares a adorable relation with her Mausaji Chintu.8. Chintu Singh Chautala Shaktishali played by Sumit Vats :
He portrays the role of younger jamai. He is cunning or chant in nature. Loves his wife dearly. He came in Shaktishali Nivas to become ghar jamai and live life like a King but it happened the opposite and he too accepted his responsibilities now but not fully that chantgiri is still there. He solves all the problems of naniji by his chantgiri. His some famous signature one liners are "naniji ki jai ho, o bete ki jaan, barbie Dolly badi sai lag rai ho", Agar me jhut bolu toh...jhut bolu toh na".
9. Dolly Shaktishali played by Shiwani Chakraborty :
She portrays the role of the wife of younger jamai Chintu Chautala. She is fond of tv serials and loves her husband blindly. She wanted to go to her sasural but sadly it didn't happen. Her signature reactions are "kya kya kya & nahi nahi nahi".10. Badelal played by Jayesh :
He portrays the role of servant or say detective for nani for keeping a close eye on all the jamai's. Most trusted man of nani, doesn't shares a good relation with Chintu. His signature line is "Samajh gaya maalkin".Concept of the Show
Ajab Gajab Ghar Jamai main story revolves around Naaniji & Chintoo Chautala..Initially Naani & chintoo's story was similar to Tom & Jerry..If naani stayed one step ahead of chintoo, then he used to think 1 step ahead of naani..Initially Naani was not believing chintoo & he used to convince her from his actions & tried to get into naniji's good books..Later when she learnt that chintoo is a kind hearted person who helps his people whoever in problem have started to love him & believing him.
Chintoo has always helped the family members whenever they faced problems..He helped sundari to face the interview easily, when she returned from USA, saved naani's new land, badelal from wedding who was about to marry a thief, taught monica in his own way which resulted in getting high marks, made gurumaa to realize her mistakes about the opinion on men, his encouragement to mahaan when mahaan was frustrated, saved everybody's money from Mathura bolega scheme, naana-mahaan from kaala bedia, mahaan from Bhojpuri fake director, educated every1 regarding mobile tower, saved lolly from humiliation from mahaan's friend, made monica to come out of fear regarding bhoot etc.
Even though this show is labeled as comedy, have dealt with some serious issues like Add On Credit card, blood donation, schemes, future bhavishya, mobile tower, strike etc & taught how to deal with these matters.
