Every now and then, such a movie exists that makes you wonder, "why? why was this movie even made in the first place? what were the actors thinking when they agreed to do this movie? were they even thinking?"
I recall a movie released earlier this year called MR JOE B. CARVALHO (starring Arshad Warsi). The film's title was supposed to be humorous, as it was supposed to indicate the hindi words "jo bhi karvalho" (in English, "make him do anything"). The only thing humorous was the pathetic box office collections of this film. After all, after hearing the name of this film, any breathing person on the planet would've understood that the film has FLOP written all over it...except for those involved with the film I guess, as they probably thought they were making the second coming of SHOLAY.
Now, here comes another W*F movie! It's a film called BALWINDER SINGH FAMOUS HO GAYA. I could just stop here and say that the film has DISASTER written all over it, but that wouldn't be as much fun as it is to totally rip the film apart and insult it 😆 So that's what I shall do!
One day, two singers (Mika Singh and Shaan, who, mind you, have good achievements as singers) decided that they will enter the famous profession of acting. Okay, fair enough, everyone deserves a chance!
But...they decide to lay their hands on a film named BALWINDER SINGH FAMOUS HO GAYA. Who decided to sign a film with such a name first between the two of them, only God knows!
Now imagine, while watching the trailer, you hear a song with lyrics that go like, "Mohabbat Ka Bhopu Bajne Laga". 😕

There are 7 other films releasing this week. The film has 6 open days to make whatever pathetic amount of money it will make as BANG BANG and HAIDER release on Thursday next week.
Even though this film will get a disastrous opening, it will do best in North India because of the title and Mika Singh being in the film. Even North India will see a very poor opening for the film though.
After "housefull" signs outside of theatres, it is time to introduce another sign: "empty hall". Iss film ko dekhne shayed koi kutta hi jaayega.

Opening Day: 60 lakhs
Opening Weekend: 1.5 crore
Lifetime Collections: 2 crores
Overall Box Office Verdict: DISASTER
This film will introduce a new standard of how bakwaas a film can be!
