Humsafars | Behind the Curtains
The stage is set. A love story about to unfold in front of you on 22nd September 2014 on Sony TV, Humsafars.
The lights are on, the props are being set up and the characters are sketched. Though everything is in silhouette, you can find enough light to see behind the curtains, a movement.
The story is sketched though not strictly black and white, lack colours. The character Princess will add the basic colours - Red, Green and Blue from which millions of colours emerge. A gamut that is going to colour a paper that has seen only darkness. Black.
The writing is clear, though dark and diffused, the words that emerge are smear. Daag! What had happened that has led to darkness within the writer? What is the pen writing? Dark thoughts that are transferred from a mind that sees only black.
The Prince. The writer. The conqueror. Has he written his own fate? Has he turned away every colour to only seek that is black and white? The only clarity in his otherwise obscure life is his pen, his work, his life! He is looking inward.
The Princess. With hopes and dreams knotted on her dupatta, she looks at the horizon, seeing the light shining. She is forging a life that will unravel the knots that encase her.
Humsafars will opens its curtains to you all on Monday at 10:30pm on Sony TV. Story of Arzoo Nausheen Khan and Sahir Azeem Chaudhary. Here is something to look forward to.
