Okay, I could NOT stop rofling throughout the episode. I found it just a taddd bit fillerish but it was a good kind of filler. The bad kind of fillers are the one where nothing happens but today, it was fun, deep and dramatic.
Yes, yes, YES. The after effects of the locked room are finally showing on Manik. THE Monster Manik was showing concern for Nandini. Aaah...how I love watching two supposedly mature people bicker like kids. During their first encounter, they were just an inch away from sticking out their tongue and make faces 🤣 Like I said, kids xD
But let's talk about Manik The Awkward Guy for now. He so obviously wanted her to hint that her search up the hill is going to be futile cuz he had already searched there. See! Concern! Mixed with more than a dash of awkwardness cuz of Manik hi kya jo seedhi baat kahe 😆 Anyway, what he wanted to say remained unsaid and the Manik The Ego Guy shone through. Luckily, Nandini no longer pays attention to that guy xD
Though how amazing was the sync with which the two of them turned to face each other
Nandini was showing concern for Manik as well. I love it how they have kept the locked room their little secret and are making efforts to avoid it or put it as something not meaningless. So when the topic does come up again, Nandini brushes it away as terrible. Manik's expression there 🤣 And they bickered again!! BABIESS!!!! 🤗 🤣 But seriously, I am loving this change in their relationship. While before their relationship had fights, the words were bitter and hurtful. Now they still fight but it's all so toned down that it feels like they are passing time. And passing time they are. They've always fought. 85% of their encounters involved fighting or dis-pleasantaies. They don't know, not yet, how to converse civilly. They did try today. Nandini did the socially acceptable thing by asking about his hurt hand...but things changed drastically in the next 10 seconds. You could see the way Manik was so displeased at being misunderstood again..the sarcasm was proof. Manik, make peace with the fact that this girl is in your life to basically defy all your power 😆
Well, FINALLY they put Parth's height to good use. The stick fight. Didn't the face Nandini make when she saw the sticks and then looked at Manik effin' ADORABLE! She's such a baby! I have this immense love for Niti's face...can I just pinch her?! I've began to pout like her as well..ANYWAY! On topic! The kids were fighting over the sticks and yups, they fell down. The look Manik gave to Nandini there, I seriously half expected them to burst out laughing. But Nandini seemed in genuine pain. *Sigh* What a blissful feeling to see Nandini accept Manik's hand of help without much hesitation. Other proof that despite all their tries, they haven't pushed the locked room under a rug. The effects are very much there. His helping her was something that had happened the night before, it was just the reprise version today. And it was shown that way...essentially the same, just a bit more easy going.
Navya was being the OTT drama queen today but she was adorable so complains there. I love it how Harshad plays along with her antics 😆 Gotta appreciate the guy who does something like this without being annoyed. Mukti became the smart one today and you go gurl! Use those feminine charms to take what you need and leave em hanging 😉
Dhruv was mighty adorable. I am loving this open Dhruv who admits that Nandini has become important for him and he doesn't want to lose her. But poor guy is a bit tired of being stuck between these two pagal people who mean the most to him 😆 Nandu being Nandu, the angel she is, assured him that she won't ever be the reason of trouble for Dhruv. Oh, you sweet summer child. Khair, Shahid broke the little date and did it hilariously. No guys, I am still laughing while typing this. I found the episode too funny, all in the good way 😆
Contrary to our popular belief, Manik has said the three magic words to Alya. See, I saw the episode with their kiss (more to ogle at Parth's jawline than anything else) and yikes. Their relationship was so sweet. No wonder Alya is heart broken. I could feel her pain and fear of losing Manik. But Dhruv's words were...hats off. Only Dhruv has the right to speak about Manik that way. The way he gently made Alya understand that Manik is the kind who can't be bound, he needs his own air, his own freedom, his own space. And all he needs the most is the trust that despite having all that, he would stay with you. Don't bind him with chains and promises and annoy him with suspicious questions. Let him be if he asks to. That would only make him stay, not fly away. He isn't asking for an escape, all he needs is a breathing space. Because till now, Manik did as Manik pleased. He never does anything which he was asked to. He initially tries but he ultimately does all he pleases. Everything that has happened, everything that scares Alya..hasn't happened cuz of Nandini but for Manik's own free will. Nandini never pulled Manik to her, he went there, goes there, out of his own free will. Alya doesn't see things that way. Maybe Dhruv does. But anyway, I am glad that she understood a bit.
GAAAHH! Just give me an episode which reveals how the Fab5 came to be! HOW CAN SUCH PRECIOUS FRIENDSHIP BE FORMED?! I am so darn curious!
Rose...you be epic. Jungle mein, in the middle of a task, she brought muffins for a picnic 🤣 Navya decides to "confront" her only to have Cabir take charge. I mean, she took the muffin from him and started eating it 🤣 Hilarious! HILARIOUS!!! Scarlett, Ayaz, Veebha - YOU GUYS ROCK! I can't stop laughing! 🤣
Now the drama. The scene was a bit dragged and all I could think of when Manik and Harshad started running that if two hot guys like them were to run like that towards me...I tou will pakka have a nosebleed and faint. Which would be a terrible loss but DAYUM! Parth and Abhishek...you be sexy ☺️
The fall scene seemed a bit dragged and I do not blame Harshad for taking the guitar. His eyes were not focused on Nandini but on the guitar. He just realized her fall a bit late. But since Manik's sight is being fine tuned to Nandini, it was obvious he would notice it first. Luckily Harshad showed some quick thinking and went to ask for proper help instead of blind diving. This matter is of moments only. But Manik did save her so all's well...for now.
Fangirling over tomorrow's hug and tears and look will be done tomorrow.
Excuse me while I go and break the replay button on "Khabar Nahin."
