Chapter 11
The morning comes with a new beginning of all lives, everyone get engaged in their respective works. The gang expected neither some miracles, as neither the marriage is going to stop nor any one is going to ruin it as everyone is happy except them. Kriya got ready for the marriage so as Rey followed by Shivam and Archana. Parents are the most happiest but at sometimes they felt their children's face didn't light up at any of the occasion of the marriage. Since, everyone got busy, Rey sneak to Kriya's room where she was getting ready. She turns her head hearing the door knob locked.
"Rey...what are you doing here?" she asked surprised, as now he was supposed to on the Mandap according to the rituals.
But he without any response was printing her image on his heart, the heavy lehenga almost hiding her feet, the gold chain on her bare waist look so inviting, her odhni on top of the head almost pin. He took steps ahead and she goes back. She makes him stop at his place but he is stubborn, he proceeds towards her. Their lips were just inches apart when he whispers "you look beautiful Kriya...and I don't want anyone to see you like this...and more over that b**** Shivam." He again proceeds towards her lips when she kept her in between. "No Rey...don't do it...you know I love you...still I can't be yours and without any rejection I am bound to marry Shivam". He step back hearing her words, maybe she is right, she is going to marry Shivam and this make him mad like anything, he wants to stop her marriage at any cost. He was about to leave when she held her wrist. "Rey wouldn't you like to embrace me for the last time" and at an instance she was pulled by him with a passionate hug, "Not only like Kriya...I would love to...but not for the last time and I bet you this" he whisper and dash out leaving her confused.
No doubt he always wins in the bet and this time also she wants him to win, but somehow destiny is also making them not to be together, else her life would have been peaceful with her lover, the man she loves the most and will love till the eternity but still, still she couldn't think about him. Thinking about another man after marriage is like vicing for a girl.
"Kriya...are you ready?" Sharon came inside breaking her thoughts and she replies her that she is ready. Sharon could see her moist eyes, but she has also no other choice except taking her to the mandap and making her sit next to that Shivam. Both descended and Sharon made Kriya sit on the mandap, she has her veil so that her face is hidden from others. Her heart cursed her for going to be someone else but she has to and except that Shivam no one knew the truth and no one should know it. How she wished her Rey should be the groom of hers. And she felt a grip of her palm, the touch makes her spine shivers but what the hell is he doing here beside her, Shivam is supposed to be here right? She was about to whisper when she heard "I know I know...but you also know I always win the bet". Now how this happened? How the grooms got exchanged or are the brides are? Does Archana know about it? "Don't worry love...she knows it and moreover it's her idea" he whispered again. Now how on earth e could read her mind? "That's my past life experience". Not again, she murmurs and he chuckles. But wait what about Shivam if he comes to know that she is married with Rey and not him then... no, she couldn't take any risk, she has to stop it. She was about to stand on he holds her. "Dare you try to stop this... sit like this till the marriage ends and we will speak after that" he said sternly and till all the marriage rituals his grip was tight so that she can't do any tactics to stop this. he knows her so well so why he would also left this opportunity or could be said his dream which will be true after the last vows they are going to take. And the vows completed, he ties the mangalsutra and then put vermillion on her maang. He smiled with a sigh, his dream is fulfilled and he promised himself to make his beloved correction his wife happy and to make her life blissful.
