Nisha is tomboyish. She hates the girly things and types. She is comfortable with her kurtha and jeans. But is it that difficult to adjust for a single day?

From the time Dadaji and Lakshmi asked her to wear lehenga for the wedding, she has been on the denial. Yes. She finds it very uncomfortable. But did she actually try whole heartedly to wear it? Yes. She tried to dance. She wasn't able to. It could be because of Kirti's attitude she couldn't focus. But what about the lehenga?

I know many will say there is no need for her to change. But can't she try to adjust to the surroundings? TRY is my point. I don't see her trying. She has made her mind not to do it. She hasn't come on time to the wedding, making everyone tensed. Is that right on her part? (Some serious reason could be there which might be shown in the next episode, but still)

Somewhere I find Nisha to be stubbornly irresponsible at times. Its realistic that one can be like that. Hence it becomes one of the flaws in the character, just like everyone has their own flaws.

Shwets, I have a friend of mine. she hated kurtas, sarees. she was a tomboy like Nisha. and trust me, she hated even trying them becoz she fell every time she wore traditional stuff.😆 to handle dupatta n all was so difficult for her. and so she always ran away from it. falling in front of guests n relatives, was embarrassing for her.

and to some extent in Nisha's case, I think she might have had similar experiences in her childhood. where she fell. couldn't handle these traditional wears properly. this could be one reason though.

but then to some extent, I agree with you. Why is she so uncomfortable for just TRYING? and in Monday's episode, she looked disturbed while rehearsing for dance. she even cried. there has to be some major reason for her to cry over dance practice. 🤔

@NM I completely agree. I myself can relate to Nisha to some extent because I am just not comfortable in traditional wear. Yes, there is a possibility that something wrong could have happened in the past, but from the look of Ramesh and Lakshmi, I feel there is no incident like that. A function is happening in their house after 20 odd years and I think this is the first time Nisha is encountering such a situation.

Could be possible that she did try to be girly somewhere and embarrassed herself badly, which she hadn't told anyone. Her expression during dancing conveyed that. But what reason could have stopped her from coming to the wedding then?

Ramesh was drunk and emotional in the night and hence she didn't talk to him. She could have done it the next day. He had promised her to take care if she cannot wear lehenga.

to early to say anything. but Nisha's crying is reason enough to believe there is a back story. which no one knows.

but if its some childhood incident, she should have tried to wear lahenga for a new start. may be as an adult, she can carry it off well.

do you think this is just the exaggeration to let audience know that Nisha is tomboy? 😆 anything can happen in TV world. 😉

@NM Sometimes I do feel that the show is trying too much to portray Nisha as a tomboy. The way she sits, even in public, even boys won't sit like that 😆

Nisha is a very matured and confident person. Yes. She will have her weakness. But its strange that none of the cousins or her parents know about it. Cousins should have known that Nisha and Jwala cannot dance. I expected them to be more supportive. Leave Kirti, but the rest? Till one point, being funny is fine. But probably that's how cousins are 😆

ive fallen a lot in saree still i wore it two days back for my cousin's wedding!!! she wanted me in it!! so i did it for her!!

even if i fall!! anything for my cousin!! 😃

^ Exactly my point. There is nothing wrong in trying. No one is asking to change herself completely. Just for the wedding. To keep everyone happy. She can do it for her cousin like you did for yours..😊

and I think for cousins, its fun to see Nisha in the situation she doesn't want to be. for them its an opportunity. but promo suggest, Umesh will come to her rescue. he will wear Lahenga n get caught. 😆
