That's what's happening with Nisha. She feels she will look like some joker in it and won't be able to enjoy her sister's wedding properly.

And am saying it by my experience... Till date I have never wore saree.. N in my farewell party the dress code was saree... I tried but it was really difficult for me so I planned to drop the idea of going there but thanks to my supportive friends who dint let me miss it and I went there in suit.
I am not liking the kind of obsession with Lehenga.. They could have given her some other girly dress which would have been more easy for her to carry like some designer suit without dupatta or simple salwar suit.

I agree. I'm sure she cam get those those suits without a dupatta. I've seen loads of people wear them.

Hi Nisha😊
I wouldn't say I don't like Nisha. I like her but yes there are some habits/behaviors of hers which are not perfect. Like you said, during the college scene with the clerk, Nisha was more angry because they didn't let her plan and execute. They did it on their own. She revealed it not exactly because it was wrong, but because she couldn't get the money on her own.

She is tomboyish. Fine. She does try to interfere in every matter. I don't think it is wrong. She considers herself to be mature enough and to an extent she is. When it comes to understanding her family situation, she is matured. She gives back when someone comments on her, which is/will always be considered wrong and disrespectful. But for a lady like Roopal I don't see anything wrong.

I respect your point when you say Nisha is stupidly stubborn and irresponsible. But I feel every cousin is irresponsible😆 Nisha's stubborness saves them.

Absolutely Shwets i do agree dat every charecter will have dere flaws. Its dat sometimes while watching shows we do get tuned with dere flaws and despite knowing we'll lke it..lke my own example: I lovee harry potter and all the books, movies despite knowing how can the bullshit happen. bcoz dey have been blended lke dat so as in shows if u take Suhana in sasural genda phool she is the mosttt dumbestt charecter ever created in TV but i lovedd her bcoz watever she used to do it used to blend with the show and herself.
but with Nisha its not the case. I agree wid one of the comments saying she should be proud of being a girl. the way she sits, obsession wid wearing western wear, altime arguing wid elders and her couz calling her Nishu bro it all shows she wants to be a boy and so- called superiority complex. In today's generation many girls are dere who are working hell as a boy but being a girl only.
I agree she is gud wen it comes to giving back to ones who comment but wat i feel who is she wen it comes to dadaji- Ramesh's matters. Ramesh is a father of 3 kids still he cant argue for his own sake and why Nisha only wants to poke in between. It should be sorter by Ramesh only i feel.
Just for arguement sake only 😆
but so far Nisha is a disappointing lead dats all i can say.

Nisha is a very matured and confident person. Yes. She will have her weakness. But its strange that none of the cousins or her parents know about it. Cousins should have known that Nisha and Jwala cannot dance. I expected them to be more supportive. Leave Kirti, but the rest? Till one point, being funny is fine. But probably that's how cousins are 😆

I felt the cousins where supporting her. Dadaji wanted jwala and nisha to do the swagat of the guest so they were trying to get on with it. I found kirti off-putting. She even made jwalu cry. Aww. Ugh, reminds me of one of my cousins.

I agree with this part.. She needs to adjust for her parents but i feel she is somewhat rebellion towards them also as they are bearing all the biasness. We have seen how she wanted to confront her dadaji for giving less money to his dad but her mom stopped her. I think she somewhere disapproves her submissive nature.

In addition, I do not support Nisha fully as somewhere I think she doesn't respect elders. I do not like her behavior as well... I mean she is girl and she should be proud of that.. I do not like the way Jwala calls her Nisha bro. It's ok to wear jeans and behave cool.. A girl can behave like the way Nisha is doing without actually being called as bro. N special mention.. I dislike the way she sits.. I know she is carefree person n doesn't behave like a shy girl but she has girly features and she needs to realize it. Even boys do not sit like that in public.

@bold Ditto.

I understand your point and it could be true too. Since her parents are treated with bias (probably with reason) she wants to stand up for their rights. Not a bad thing. But the way she is trying to rebel is causing more problems. She needs to understand that to make a wrong thing right, its not right to do wrong..😆😆 Nisha is a tit for tat person. But that doesn't work with family.

Evn i think Nisha is stubourn its her character flaw..like Kriti's ego..umesh's darr etc etc!

Little bit of exaggeration is shown. She is not typically dressed like a boy either. She wears jeans, everyone does. I didn't like her reaction too. If she is allergic to this extent, she shouldn't have promised Ramesh that she will try it. I don't see TRY at all.

It's nice that they are not showing perfect characters. It's not like I don't like Nisha. There are many good characteristics in her. The above one is her flaw as you rightly said.

I guess she wants to get out of the stereotypical thinking of her family, especially her dadaji that a girl should dress like this, a boy should dress like that, etc.

Caught the episode very late today. Will reply to all the posts and join the discussions tomorrow :)

SB. It could be but do you think its wrong of her family to ask her dress up like that? I don't think its wrong. They never tell her anything on the other days. It's a function and there are certain things to be followed. Wearing it for one day doesn't mean she is accepting their norms. It will show her as a more matured person.

@bold You have given my favorites as examples...😆

Yes. She is trying to show her superiority which backfires at times. Call me old fashioned but I just don't like when someone interferes while two are talking, kids or elders, no matter. Interruption and Interference are just so disrespectful.

Her being tomboyish is not a problem at her. But she should be natural about it. She shouldn't be like that just because she doesn't want to be a typical girl. I feel like she actually avenges being girly and people who are girlish. Its an interesting characterisation actually. I am happy we don't have the perfect bahus types here.

@KT Lakshya Kirti definitely put her off. But she knows about Kirti. Other cousins could have shut her up actually. Suketu was having fun seeing Nisha and Jwala struggle. Dolly and Umesh were supportive.
