If HDDCS was a precursor to what we got in Devdas, and if Ram Leela is a precursor to what we're going to get in Bajirao Mastani, you already have an answer.

But even generally speaking Aishwarya is a much stronger actress and dancer. However, again, you never know. SLB or Deepika might spring up a surprise.

Am I the only one who thinks Deepika can match Aish's beauty in period films. Grace and dance skills obviously not...but in terms of beauty...I thought Deepika looked stunning in RL. She might not be as pretty as Aish...but close enough. She even looked breathtaking in CE.

Well periodicals are Aishwarya's speciality, so I wouldn't take away that from her. Also as Jodhabai the member mentioned, SLB & Ashu are two different directors! SLB might blow away all his budget on the sets anyway😆 But yeah I can't imagine DP as Jodha, she looks better as a contemporary heroine.

I need to finish JA. I just can't sit through the film...so boring. 😆

The little I saw of Aish and Duggu in the film...they both performed well. And have great chemistry.

Yes, NO-ONE can surpass Ash as Jodha. She IS Jodha. ❤️

But why does she need to surpass Ash? It's not a competition. 😆

DP has a lot of structured grace & elegance & I am sure she will do extremely well as Mastani.

😳 Her face is MADE for historicals so this One will be a treat to watch!!!

I've a strong feeling Veer will blow everyone out of the water. The accolades will go to PC too.

DP will be praised for her look & costumes. Her face is hard NOT to cast in historicals. This is her perfect historical debut. ❤️

OMG. DP is an apsara!!! On certain angles she looks much more like Ash than Dia!!! 😲

DP is MADE for historicals. Like Ash, EXACTLY like Ash.

And no you aren't the only one, from the minute I saw DP I've been saying that she will do fantastically well in historicals. 😆

You need a face to suit historical movies & Ash & DP are made for them. Period.

She'll make a lovely Mastani, mark my words. She'll be praised most for her look & costumes, Veer will take it away alongwith PC as Kashibai.

I wonder why she took this role, I can't stop laughing when I see PC in a historical. She looks horridly uncomfortable. 🤣
