jodhaa was one of few films of ash i enjoyed thoroughly.

her classic beauty is apt for period movies.

that being said, lets wait and see how dips does as mastani. one more thing, we always say, ash is best when it comes to period movies, but i don't think many actresses are given big period dramas like jodhaa akbar and devdas...so we can't really say.

i m no fan of aishwarya, but she is hard to match in historicals. JA and Devdas are two of her strongest performances. i dont know if Deepika can match up to her grace and beauty,but good luck to her.

If there are bound to be comparisons then can we at least wait till the promos or something so we have an exact idea what we're comparing? Aish does look stunning in period films though that's kind of her forte.
