Mad D has no american accent...

I don know why people think Madhuri has american accenct i didn't notice..any diffrence..i guess ppl in India might think that way, but we in north america wont think so.......it doesn't matter......cuz she speaks ok.. her accent is good...

yeah she def. does not have an american accent. Just rolling your R's does not mean that you have an American accent.

im confused over this whole accent issue and it makes me sick to see how it concerns the masses! 😕

i think the different was that in india and pakistan people learn british english but they try to sound like american people .

well, she was using her Rs and Ts and Ds just like people in India do...... it was not american at all.... Yes, she is quite fluent... but if we compare Madhuri and Priyanka (chopra)..... Madhuri's accent will sound more Indian than Priyanka's.... because priyanka went to a high school in the US and it does make difference.... there is difference in my and my sister's accent..... she has more americanized accent than me, because she did her high school here, and i went straight to college.... you have more interaction with other students and teachers and you speak more like them while in school..... and madhuri being a house wife... she only speaks english with her kids, or may be sometimes with her husband... otherwise what i had heard that they use Marathi at home...... so that is why, it did change from what she was 5 years ago.... but still nto americanized...... and i like it that way to be honest......

madhuri is such a gracious person and so beautiful and her speech was also so clean and neat.no accent issues man ! and shd she even pick up one i wld credit her fr that !

yaar why is everyone so concerned abt her accent, even if she spoke in tamil i wld love her still. shes more than just her way of speaking! 😆

Everyone in the world has some sort of accent. It's not like the american accent is the 'standard' to all accents. She speaks gracefully and she never claimed to be anything she is not. So, I don't know why people are arguing over such a silly issue. Doesn't matter what accent she has, she was and she will always be a great actress and loved by many, no matter how she sounded!!
