Science. It's shown itself to be both positive and negative in our society. It can be killing and curing but for which does it have more potential?

Science gives us the opportunity and ability to play around or meddle with things we know nothing about. Doing this can be dangerous and harmful.

Animal cloning has started and soon maverick scientists plan on starting human cloning. Now this can be both harmful and dangerous.

The internet, television, and computer were all created by science. But by doing this we are just communicating through some microchips not eachother. On the contrary, these inventions have let us email and talk to people on the other side of the world. The internet has given us access to a wide variety of things we'd like to see.

But science is also spoiling our natural world. The pollutants we get from the inventions are going up in our atmosphere.

Is science being a threat to our society even though it gives us lots of benefits?😊

Science is only a tool. How you're going to use it and for what, it depends on you so it is not science which is a threat....

Okay, you can use science as a tool. If you are a scientist and you want to invent something new you have to experiment..and these experiments sometimes cause damage unknowingly into our society what about that?😊

Of course scientist but then again it's part of their job to experiment things to find new inventions.

Yeah, science is a threat. Heavens forbid they find some of the religions are cuckoo and have no rational basis, that'll upset a lot of people.😛

It depends on the person. Give a knife to a butcher & a surgeon. One uses it for taking a life whereas other uses it to save a life. So science by itself is neither good nor bad. Its the person who uses it that makes it good or bad. Handsome is that handsome does 😉 😆

Like someone said before, Science is tool. How one uses it depends on the person's intentions. I'd like to give another Example - The Hockey Stick 😆
