Amazing post!- Indeed, it does seem like if you are FAIR, people will be under your feet to satisfy your every desire and ego, but see that is not what real life is about! What EMA has shown and continues to show depict their mentality. We can all argue and state color was not a predominant factor in Rachana's replacement, but those who had a chance to get proper insight intel, know of the real story. Asha is an equally average actress, what I mean here is, I will place herself and Rachana on the same scale, so to fire the latter on the grounds that she was not performing is utter BS, as one could clearly see that Asha herself is no Queen of acting as she has proven in the past and continues to prove in EMA. But then again she wears fair and lovely, Shilpa got happy, so why not dish the dusky branch and hook up the fair and lovely branch instead. (nope not bashing Asha here, but merely stating a fact ie: herself and Rachana are on equal path as far as acting is concerned).
Per the message of EMA, all those dusky looking girls who are born into the house of Bai's should jump off a cliff and beg for plastic surgery so they can become fair and enjoy life on a higher ladder. Awesome message, and those supporting it, all I can say is am glad to see how the mentality of many have yet to change, despite the odds years of this color war being over with.
