Shoaib Ibrahim updates fans On Dipika’s Surgery

Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are one of the most loved couples on Indian television. The duo often makes headlines, and recently, they shared another health update that concerned their fans. Months after completing her liver cancer treatment, Dipika revealed on her YouTube channel that she had developed a 1.3 cm cyst in her stomach and would need surgery. Now, Shoaib has informed fans that the procedure has been completed and she is recovering well.

On Tuesday, February 24, Shoaib shared the update on his Instagram story. He wrote, 'Allah ke karam se aur aapki sabki duaon se Dippi' procedure is done. All went well. She is also doing fine, bas thode pain mein hai, but nothing to worry about. Thank you once again for all your prayers.' His message reassured well-wishers who had been praying for Dipika’s health.

Earlier, Shoaib had shared that on Friday night, Dipika’s stomach pain had suddenly increased. After consulting a doctor and undergoing a CT scan, they discovered another 13 mm (1.3 cm) cyst. The news was unexpected and emotional for the family, especially after everything Dipika had already faced during her cancer treatment.

A Message of Strength and Awareness

Speaking about the situation, Dipika shared an emotional message. She said, 'Such is life. For people who are battling like me, we need to fight such obstacles when they come and stay determined and strong. Yes, you get scared. I was also scared this morning, but I am glad we found this out on time. I was advised last time that regular follow-ups are very important. Don’t ignore the slightest pain.'

She further added, 'I will pray for all those battling any major illness, not just cancer; it takes a lot of courage to battle it. As of now, the doctor has hinted at doing immunotherapy, but they will decide once this treatment is done.' Her words reflected courage, honesty, and hope, inspiring many who are going through similar struggles.

Dipika and Shoaib’s love story began on the sets of Sasural Simar Ka. After dating for several years, they got married on February 22, 2018, in a traditional ceremony in Maudaha, Shoaib’s hometown. Over the years, their journey has included many personal and professional milestones.
