??... it's been around since the 50's, why couldn't they create a movie industry that rivals Bollywood?... why come over to India when you could be producing your own Aamir, Salman and SRK? 😆

First colored film of Pakistan was completely made in Dhaka (Bangladesh). Bangladeshi films were ahead of Indian Bangla films in 70's and 80's and even till mid-90's but when cable TV took its place the film industry got destroyed in a minute. Now it produces some of the ugliest and funniest films in the entire world. Really, even Nigerian films are better than Bangladeshi films. I am not saying we don't make decent films. Surely we do but the number is extremely low. 😭

😭... maybe they should just ban Bollywood movies across the board, and force the population to support the local film industry?

Bollywood, Indian Bangla films everything was completely banned for 43 years to protect the local film industry but it did nothing to protect BD industry instead made it worse. Now the ban is lifted but with some conditions.
