i have read through all the 11 pages with interest. i do think men have a choice. he can be a home maker if he so chooses. i personally dont mind marrying a man who is willing to sit at home. by sitting at home, i dont mean sit around on your butt all day and watch the telly drinking beer. but do the household chores, cooking etc..while i earn the bread. i also would love it if he is the one that got pregnant and had to go through the maternity aches and pains.

a man sitting at home is unacceptable to the man himself...who considers himself a cut above the women. it is not just the women who talk about the man at home, but other men too speak rather sneeringly at those that choose to be at home (but maybe envy them in their hearts...who knows!!!).

as for hypocricy, the men are as much hypocrites as the women are.but very few admit to it. when he has the autocracy to decide what the women in his household do, i dont see any reason why he does not apply the choice to himself as well.

i honestly think men do have a choice but choose not to implement it

I guess irrespective of whether its a man or a woman .. no one wants to sit at home and twiddle their thumbs ..
