I have just recently started watching RR...on the third episode and loving it to bits! I had come to this forum only two days back hoping for some great discussions and reading lots and lots of interesting posts, but it came as a shocker for me, when I saw how the story changes I haven't even seen ten episodes of RR and after reading all your posts, I am already feeling the heartbreak and depression that all you guys are going through.
I really want to watch RR, but after reading that they are going to kill off Paro (???), I am not sure if I should go watching it anymore, even though one part of me is desperate to see what happens to Rudra and Paro after their first meeting!
I don't understand why the creatives and channels have to abruptly change storylines and characters in this manner? Why not have a limited time period and end the story in say, 6 or 7 months and start again with the same actors, but in new characters? That way, you don't kill the essence of the original show and the viewers get to cherish and remember their favorite characters as they were.
Also, I can't believe why RR did not get the requisite number of TRP's and that is why the drastic change in storyline! It seems to have all the ingredients of a popular show...good-looking, talented leads, a great storyline, good characterizations, dialouges ect! What else does the TRP deciding audience need? A lot of shows revolving around a strong love story are doing well...I think the problem lies with the channel and the production house rather than with the show itself.
Maybe, I'll just watch RR till the point when Rudra and Paro have their kid and then switch off from the show...from what I can make out, the best moments and storyline of the show was only till then.
