I knew then that the show will deviate very soon from its original motive and concentrate on romance and long eyelocks! And now all of a sudden Dayal wants Durga to move on? Especially when she isn't even halfway through?

Romance has always been a distraction and weakness in strong revenge plots. I guess CVs wanted to make the show more commercially viable by modifying the basic idea and ended up ruining it!

P.S. I have no issues with Dev, just that this could have waited till Durga is atleast partially done with the misson, like atleast tackled all the pawns from Mathur to Ganguly to Payal's friend to Pujari to the lady doctor, and would have been planning against Shaurya's friends!

As you said ^, indian shows need a romance angle, the future angle will be of Shaurya and Durga, they are the two main leads. There is a thin line b/w love and hate, and one of the reasons I think Durga hates Shaurya so much is because she had crossed that line some point back. I kind of sensed that with her reluctance to reconcile with Dev. If she loved him, she should have done something after finding about the truth. Love is a great strength, and as always she could have worked with Dev to place the Goenka's where they belong.

I don't know, I just am really upset but the wedding angle, but then again it was a dead end, Shaurya would probably have listened to Saksi this time and left Durga alone.

However, I will only be pleased if Shaurya dies in this serial, or ends up with a life sentence. I would hate to see him 'reform' and live happily ever after with Durga. Please allow this one Indian soap to be morbid and kill the main hero. Thanks.
