Why do the family have to know that Durga is Nitya. Can Dev and Durga not pretend that they fell in love? Do they expect Dev will become a Devdas because Nitya is gone? Yes Goenkas will have trouble excepting Durga but they do not have to know she is Nitya

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Dayal. He supported Durga and wanted revenge for Payal all along. But now things are different. Dev is back and Dayal like any other father would like his daughter to lead a happy life. Dayal has also seen that no matter what Shaurya does, his stupid parents always save his neck. Shaurya is becoming more dangerous every day. Rather than wait for more casualty from Shaurya and him getting away, Dayal probably prefers Durga to be happy and safe. Payal is still away from Goenka's eyes so she can be easily sent away with Durga and Dev. Maybe as a father he thinks his children's safety is more important than a very little chance that Shaurya can be punished as long as his parents are around

This show is losing its charm. And it will fully on lose it when Durga would leave this 2 year mission, and along with that I will quit this once upon a time beautiful show!!

I think we all know Durga will not leave Calcutta. All this is to get Shaurya to react after he promised (yeah right, as if his word mean anything) his mata Soxy Devi(L) that he will wipe put Durga from his nasty brains (even if they have to drill his brains to do so).

He's thinking like a father. He feels that this brutal battle with the Goenkas can harm Durga and he doesn't want to lose a daughter again. Moreover every father wants his daughter to lead a normal life,be happy and he wants the same for Durga...there's nothing selfish in that. Earlier he didn't have a guy in hand but now he knows that Dev truly loves Nitya and deep down,Nitya too loves him,so he can finally dream of a secure future for his daughter.Plus,Payal is also recovering,it's not that Durga's revenge only can heal Payal. So his intentions are good. However Durga should not comply with them because the Goenkas deserve punishment for every crime they have committed so far.
