Basant's death in an accident was an opportunity to showcase the value of organ donation. The serial with social messages missed the golden opportunity.

Its ok as Basnat's death itself is a shock and they wont like to further aggravate by removing his vital organs.

As accident is a police case, why no police was seen? Did they do post mortem?

Let them show some young person die in an accident and his parents or her parents donate the organs. Nowadays I am reading about such cases when parents are ready to do this inspite of their immense grief. And they save some lives, give eyesight to the blind.

They showed in detail the funeral rites, but they did not show certain things when accidental death takes place.

It is possible that given the impact of the truck hitting basant that all the organs may have been rendered useless or injured badly. The impact of an accident can also make a person's pupils blow out by causing an injury in the brain, so eye donation may also not be possible.

This is not meant to be a documentary about procedures to be followed after accidental death. Certain things they have to leave to our imagination and proceed further with the intended story track -- gehna's liberation from widowhood.
It is just like they showed gauri seducing jagya with flower petals on the fan ... then the fan went on and all the petals showered on jagya. After that the door closed and then we learned six weeks later that gauri is pregnant. They did not show the process in detail as to how she got pregnant đŸ¤ŖđŸ¤Ŗ

Maybe. But if CVs wanted, they could have shown some vital organs intact. Usually in some accidents, its a possibility unless the body is engulfed by flames and burnt.

Of course this is not a documentary or even a study of how funerals are conducted in such a detail.

Usually organs are harvested from accident victims. I dont know whether organs can be harvested when a person dies of some terminal disease.

The parents I mentioned lost their children who were in their twenties. The parents themselves came forward to donate.
