I think Durga is torn between her past with Dev as Nitya and her present with Dev as Durga because if she has come back after two years of preparing for her mission to get justice and this is not the time for Durga to be in love and be side tracked from her original plan.

And Shaurya is neither jealous or possessive about Durga . All he wants is to win his bet and not lose face in front of his friends, so he can be the "Macho" guy that can get any girl he sets his eyes on.

I called Shaurya possessive like an animal is for its prey. I can totally compare him to wild animals on Animal Planet, roaring over their piece of meat and not letting anyone else come close to it because they want to devour it themselves alone.
