Can Varun Dhawan pull off an Ek Villain

Well I hear Ek Villain is collecting tons and tons of crores around the world and leading man Siddharth Malhotra is lapping up all the laurels for the film. Sid is really turning into a golden goose after this film .

But now hear is my question :

We have all older brothers who bug us to death. Mine was a pain in the ass . ( glad he's married and lives far away in Houston now )

Big brothers always make us feel inferior . These days I'm sure Varun is feeling inferior to Sid cause of EV .
But if given the chance to do this film how do you think it would've faired if Varun was the leading man of Ek Villain

Would it have been the super hit it is now or no ?

Nope, never. actually I didn't liked EV at all, neither the story was good, nor the acting. For me the movie was a failure at every point, as it couldn't hit anywhere, supposedly a romantic thriller, there was nothing thrilling, I predicted the whole movie within 10 mins, and I'd seen songs which were romantic enough times before.

I thnk Ark would be the better choice than VD! He fits in these role very much n also his chemistry wid shraddha speak more volume than any othr actor! Bt at the same time i like sid too

VD is clearly not the angst revenge type hero at all. He can at the most play something like Ranbir's Rockstar character, a rebellious character.

Maybe, cause Sid SUCKS during those fighting sequences in EV! I can't stop laughing at his attempt to fight those baddies 🤣 His face looks fierce but his body language is all wrong. He look so umm... soft 😆
