GD and social media!

I couldn't find any new posts so thought to write one and get some discussion going!

Well we are all aware of the importance of social media nowadays and even some of the GD actors use either FB or tweet about GD to create and sustain interest. However I feel that the team of GD should have a proper social media strategy to increase exposure for the show.

I mean I hardly read any tweets about the show except when Sana tweets or I get a tweet from Alekh(Adi) or Shraddha(Ayesha) but apart from that there doesn't seem to be a planned strategy by the makers of the show to help generate more interest though the show is doing well as far as TRP is concerned. Agree we recently had the promo but that was well overdue.

I mean look at Star Plus ok I know they have more finance available but always tweet about their different shows. Even Ayesha who is playing a part in Maddhubala I saw her interview on you tube about her Maddhubala character but there are hardly any interviews from GD cast. Only interviews I have seen in the past have been from Sana and Vibhav. That's not enough I feel we should get interviews from other actors like Meghna, Alekh and Shraddha too!

What do you think? What are the techniques GD could adopt to generate and sustain more interest?

Well, everyone have a marvellous Sunday afternoon.

I agree that G.D is very low on promotion. I see so many promos of other shows like Tumhari Pakhi, Ek boond ishq etc but nothing about G.D. (No offence to other shows) . About social media , yes there seems to be no interaction from the cast , except from Sana.. I must confess that I am not a regular on social media!! I would be happy if they had some interviews especially of Vibhav Roy as people are slowly forgetting he is the main lead due to reasons best known to C.V's. Even the montage is outdated! They can have a new one along with good promos to keep up the mood of the show and keep viewers hooked. There is Sab se Bada Fan contest this week dedicated to Gustakh dil and Savdhaan India. They will ask us questions about the show at the end after every episode and the winner gets a free ticket to India and opportunity to meet our fav. serial cast . This is what I heard!! So that's the only promotion I have seen this week. Anyways hope for the best.😊
