OMG after the precap I am sooo shocked. How cheap and selfish can someone's family be. Like Urmi dadi is asking her to take the complain back ... OMG... Like her grand daughter is hurt so badly and she doesn't care about her instead she is more worried about her izaat. OMG I JUST HATE PEOPLE LIKE These. Who worry about izaat but not about emotions and love...

And in the precap when she first said ... Whatever happened wasn't good. I thought she was referring to Urmi being hurt and beaten... But I was wrong ... That Chudail was talking about Samrat.

Sorry for my language but I just hate Urmi dadi from today's episode. I also don't like her dad. He was the one who took Urmi back to her sasural

Please yr thoughts regarding this topic... And tell what would u have dome if you were Urmi

I first thought that only Urmi sasural people are bad ... But look at that ... Her own family is worst..

Urmi should leave her sasural and family both and start an independent life..

urmi would be alot stronger if her family supported her.

whether its in domestic abuse or anything else in life, without the love and support of family, that journey becomes hard.

and you are right, her grandmother is the one who has enabled urmi to be a battered woman.

thats why crisis shelters and homes are very much needed. because even if one has family, they cannot find refuge and safety with them.

I feel helpless . What about poor urmi. I read that she would revoke the complain under pressure, I feel sick. How will he and his mother ever learn?

As for her family members... what are they waiting for ? Her death before they decide to help her?

not then the blame would go on her mother for raising such a useless child that couldnt make her marriage work. people like these dont ever take responsibility and always find a way to blame others.

I would never have been in Urmi's place - the first time my spouse raised his voice on me I would've outshouted him and thoroughly shown him his "Aukat" - verbally. The first time when Samrat slapped Urmi - had I been there even as a witness I would've broken his bloody hand to a pulp - wouldn't even be fit for a "angootha-chhap".

And yes a "Chaddi-Parade" in his office and in the locality he lives in - is very much in order for Samrat.

But why blame Urmi's Daadi or Father - got thoroughly disgusted when they showed Urmi hugging Samrat's photo and crying - it's women like this who invite DV.

This is art imitating reality- they are just showing what is happening out there, there are sick people out there who will say that, even as the wounds are still visible on Urmi's face!

Urmi's family is utterly disgusting. Shashi is disgusting. I would have liked to see Urmi tell her MIL - had this happened to Aditi what would she be saying then?

The sad reality is that this is what happens in real life - victims of Domestic Violence face severe peer pressure to "adjust" and "forgive" as "men get carried away in their rage", they just "have to be patient and things will work out" all sorts of oppressive and regressive commentary in the name of saving face in society and maintaining peace in the household.

Urmi's FIL was the only sensible person today when he said he is with Urmi and Samrat deserves punishment for his actions. If only he could have also shut Shashi up by saying - watch what you say as you could be put in jail along with the rest of us for aiding domestic violence. All Shashi cares about is her fuktard son. Her upbringing has given him the guts to behave so brutally with his wife. Rudra should slap Shashi hard and tell her since you support Samrat's actions let me beat you up since you make me mad.

Urmi's father and grandmother are a shame - all they care about is their izzat. I just can't comprehend how they fail to see the bruises on Urmi's body and face - does that not mean anything to them? It's so regressive to see the grandmother and father saying "this is a household matter - shouldn't have gone to the police" ARE YOU SERIOUS?! It's people and mentalities like that that encourage abusers of Domestic Violence.

Let alone support Urmi, none of her family members even asked her how she was!😡
What a shame! Do her parents even know the definition of Ma and Pa?
Parents are the two people in the world who feel pain straight in their heart if someone even dares to touch their phool jeisi beti. If someone slaps their daughter they ought to be damn angry! Samrat did more than slapping once or twice. For goodness sake they ought to try and understand that the man LITERALLY BEAT his wife up. Seeing those bruises on Urmi's body I felt really bad. Urmi's parents ought to be outraged!😡 I won't carry on..I already hate Urmi's father and Dadi. Waste of time talking about them. People like them never change.
