Well was gonna simply post without snaps as i wanted to write this more than cap.. but then today was such a cuteness overloaded episode that I spent the last 2hrs capping loads of snaps! So now will post a combination :)
'Che saal ki bachchi...' isn't that what he called her today? Ironical isn't it?.. and was it a coincident? nah i don't think so.. because Paro was just 6yrs old when she became an orphan.. when she lost her childhood.. when she learned that she was indebted to kind elders who would look after her as a duty.. that she could no longer throw tantrums or demand their love, hugs, or to get them to let her have her own way.. so she conformed.. learned to be grateful for the tenderness anyone cared to send in her way..
But today Paro is able to be that che saal ki bachchi because she is assured of her place in one more living human being's life.. after the age of 6 at 21 only she finally found someone to belong to and.. having found that someone who was unconditionally hers.. who would love her even when she was grumpy.. who would make her laugh because he loves to see her laughter.. who would pick her up when she cannot walk alone.. who would kiss her tears away.. who would hug her when she is sad.. who would protect when she was in danger.. who would wince when she so much as whimpered.. and none of these were results of some obligation.. finally she was no longer a duty to someone..
those reactions came towards her way from him because he loved her.. she didn't have to be the quiet well behaved little girl who submissively agreed to everything so that she would be accepted.. because where she is assured of love.. she would be loved regardless of what she does.. and would be loved because of all of her flaws, not in-spite of them..
those arms that were raised even before he reached to pick her up.. those arms raised up today because she knew she was loved.. because she knew a place in his arms was assured for her because he cannot not have her in his arms..
And just like that she became the child she could never be since she was 6yrs old..
He doesn't allow her feet to touch the bed and asks her what she wants.. so he could fetch it for her.. a momentary hesitation before telling him he cannot bring it to her..
his indignation that there is anything that he cannot bring to his Paro..
Deciding to confide and making him dance to her whims..literally! gesturing him to come close so she could share her little secret..
though not sure where this is going he tentatively complies..
Then the whispered secret about wanting to go to the bathroom.. she doesn't even want to let the empty room hear those deeply private need.. but she doesn't think twice about sharing it with him..
A well founded belief.. because after the momentary pause at this alien situation to him.. because this creature who makes him wants to care for her.. to love her like he has never loved anyone.. its a first to him too.. and he is learning..
and he as if its the most natural thing in the world picks her up in his arms and carries her to the bathroom..
And she clings to him as if its the most natural thing too..
And he would have carried her all the way in had she not demanded to be let down!
And as she puts weight on her injured leg she winces.. and he is worried.. and as she limps away calls out worriedly asking her to be careful..
And she turns to look back at him.. at the sound of his concern..
So its no wonder when she comes back out.. she holds out her arms to him as if she had all the rights in the world to be in those strong arms.. had all the rights to expect the protection and help when she was not strong enough to face life alone..
And when he teases her about being a child she happily agrees but teases him right back.. because of course she mothers him when he is in his childish fretful moods..
And when she out of habit tries to get down he scolds her.. ordering her to stay put.. so he can care for her...
and like a little girl who was naughty she quietly listens..
But once she realizes that he is ready to do all of her bidding.. then comes the little imp out again and she starts having her own way enjoying the moment!
And the list of demands grow.. from pillows under her injured foot.. to a pillow of her choosing for her back..
to the doll she wants to play with.. she enjoys getting him to pamper her..
simply said this is a huge character growth from her end.. because she never knew since the age of 6 what it was to be loved unconditionally.. never knew how it would be like to demand love and attention.. because she was scared that she will never get that as she no longer had her own parents..
but now she has her major saab she is no longer scared..she openly demands her rights from the man who loves her unconditionally..
