Actress playing Trisha (Snigdha Srivastava) pregnant - Article

Snigdha Srivastava has been missing from the show Zee TV's Doli Armaanon Ki, ever since the sequential leap took place in May. The actress played a predominant role, that of Trisha.

And of course, we were surprised on seeing the character's sudden disappearance.

When we called up the actress, Snigdha with a beaming smile told us that she has quit Doli Armaanon Ki, as she is all set to embrace motherhood.

Wow, this is good news indeed!!

She expressed, "Well, I got to know of me being in the family way in March (2014). That was the time when the leap in Doli Armaanon Ki was being planned. An interesting track with Trisha being seen as an IPS officer post the leap had been chalked out. And to play such a character, I needed to have a lot of physical stamina. So I had a talk with Pearl mam (Grey, Producer) and requested her to change the track as it was difficult for me to continue. And after a lot of contemplation, the creative team decided to let go of the character for some time. I last shot for the show an episode before the leap happened. They have not reopened the chapter of Trisha post the leap; guess they will bring her back whenever they want. As for me, I am done with the show. I am now on top of the world, expecting my baby."

On the amazing feeling, Snigdha shared, "I never knew this would be such an exciting phase in my life. I am cherishing it every moment. My family members were very strict and did not want me to talk about my pregnancy till I crossed the third month. Now, I am in my fifth month, and my baby is due in November (2014)."

When we talked to her, Snigdha was on her way to Goa with her husband Tayyab Malik and few friends. Talking about the joyous trip, the lady said, "Well, we are on our way to Goa to celebrate our baby moon. This trip is mostly for me and Tayyab to spend quality time together, before we wait for the arrival of our bundle of joy (smiles). We know that with the kid being born, we won't be travelling for the next one and half years. We have been to Goa a lot many times, and there is nothing left to explore. We have booked a resort, and will look forward for some private time. As for other celebrations, I think my baby shower will be planned in my seventh month (smiles)."
