No .I watch a film if it excites me .

But if I happen to read a negative review before going for a movie ,I may not enjoy that movie thinking its bad ..

So the best approach is to avoid the reviews altogether if I plan to catch a movie.

No ..

Critics are just people like us who go and watch movie and analyze it according to their own expectation, own filters, and own perceptive.

I have different expectation, different preferences, and different perspective.

Also, critics likes to claim that they are sane and classy, so what they will praise is known in advance, and what they will trash is known in advance as well.

Sometime I watch movies that been heavily praised by the critics,the masses, and this forum's members - in many cases, my opinion differ than theirs. So no, critics review is not a condition or requirement for me watch or not watch movies.

depends on the trailer ..if i find it good i will watch it.. critics can give it 5/5 stars or 0/5stars it doesn't matter😆

Yes only my brother, love discussing movies with him. Most of the time I do watch the film whether he likes or not.

To a HUGE extent, yes..

I love few movies which are dissed by critics though.. 😊..

Nope..I decide myself so i have no one else to blame..Critics analyse according to their tastes and expectations..At the end of the day, they are human too and prone to bias..Some are too cynical & strict while the rest are way too lenient..So i'd rather watch & judge myself 😆 I do rely on the reviews members post on the forum though..But then i have noticed, most of us exaggerate in the review threads about how awesome the film was only to retract a few months later..Its happened to me a couple of times 😆

I dont even know what criteria I use when I watch movies. I watch maybe one hindi film in the theater each year, even that seems lot at times. LOL.. and that has to be something I've been waiting for like 3 Idiots.

Other than that, boredom dictates what I'll watch, if it's on tv, then why not.. but if the movie itself is boring as well, ie Lootera, then can't watch it and I'll maybe come here and rant about it. I try to avoid films of Vidya Balan, Rani, Sonam, Hritik, Farhan, Sonakshi etc etc.

PS. most of my opinions on movies on IF are BS. I make them without seeing the films. 😆

depends but mostly a movie has to give me a good vibes.

these days, I never go to watch because of any super-istar in it. I prefer low-budget movies over grand scale movies.
