Chapter 9: Confession😳
Mohan came back to the cabin while Navya and Anant finished their tea.
"Okay then,chalte hai,ahh Navya"said Mohan as he extends his hand for her to support "Tumahre paer mein dard haina isliye"
Navya glanced at Mohan's hand and then looked at Anant who had a disappointed look on his face.
"Umm nahi Mohan ji its fine"Navya got up ignoring his hand "chaliye"
She started walking ahead of them leaving behind a happy Anant and a dejected Mohan who made his extended fist into a ball.

They reached near the parking lot.
"Arey"Navya patted her head "Mai apna purse toh Anant ke cabin mein hi bhul aayi,main abhi leke aati hoon"
They both nodded their head while she went back inside the office.
She reached inside his cabin, took her purse and went out just to be stopped by the mere mention of Soniya's name by a female voice accompanied by their gigglings in the outer cabins.She peeked a bit to find 3 girls laughing and talking.
"Yaar Soniya,tune kya kamaal ka plan banaya hain Anant sir ko pane ka"said a girl.
Navya saw Soniya who was wearing a white formal full sleeves shirt along with a knee length skirt.Her hair upto her shoulders are curled up from the botton.
"She is actually beautiful" Navya grumbled under her breath.
She tilted her head to listen them more properly.
"I know babes, am genius in all these things"She gave an evil smile.
"But Soniya atleast mujhe batao toh tumne ye sab kiya kaise?"Asked the other girl.
"You know what from the first day when I joined this office, I got attracted towards Anant but usne mujhpe kabhi dhyan nahi diya.I proposed him in the first week itself but he denied me and always maintained the professional relation between us. Mujhe realize hi nahi hua when my attraction for him turned to an obsession.When we had an office party after 2 weeks,I decided ki mujhe usae har keemat pe pana hai.Mohan Sir and Om Sir us waqt Ooty gaye thae for a project and Anant ko sab kuch akele sambhalna tha.Like a typical Indian guy he doesen't drink so mujhe uski soft drink mei hi nashe ki dawaii milani padi.As I planne, his head started acheing.Main usae uske cabin room mei le gayi and vo vaha behosh ho gaya and the rest is all history my dear!" Laughed Soniya.
"So iska matlab sir aur tumahre beech...?"The other girl gulped and asked.
"No silly vo behosh ho gaya tha on the sofa itself and mai saari raat usi room mei baithi rahi and subah hote hi I created a sobbing scene like he took advantage of me and all.Poor him usae toh kuch yaad bhi nahi tha and now I am blackmailing him ki vo mujhse shaadi kare warna mai uske ghar pe sab kuch bata dungi"Said Soniya.
"Aur ab"said Soniya adding "jo mujhe shaadi se pehle nahi mil sakta vo mujhe shaadi ke baad mil jayega and then divorce"
"Matlab tum use pyaar nai karti?"Asked the other girl.
"Pyaar"Soniya mocked "Anant meri zidd hai jise paane ke liye I can cross any limit.
They all laughed.
Naavya was shocked to the core hearing the truth. She is unable to believe how a girl can get so down and cheap but she was happy at her heart that Anant was all innocent.She decided to help him and make him out of this situation.

The Bajpai family were having lunch.All were having a chit chat while Navya was continuously looking at Anant and finding ways to talk to him alone about Soniya.
Anant notices her staring at him. He makes his eyebrows up in a gesture to ask her wat's the matter.
She lipses sync back saying him that she wants to have a word with him but Anant was unable to understand her gesture.Nimisha notices the two of them and makes a suspicious face.She knew that Anant and Navya have become good friends but she felt there is something more apart from this brewing between the two.She intentionally drops her spoon near Anant's leg and asks him to lift.He bends down to lift it just then she bends as well.
"Bhai"Nimmi wispers under the table "Kya chal raha hai aap dono ke beech?"
"Chup kar"scolded Anant "Asa kuch nahi hai, ye le pakad"He handles her spoon and sits straight knowing very well what Nimmi might be suspicious about.

After having lunch
"Navya beta, Mohan ko toh office ke liye nikalna padega par tum kuch der baad chali jana,mai thoda sa kitchen mei kaam nipta lu phir hum saas bahu milke gossip karenge" Said Sugandha with an excited look.
"Jee Aunty"Smiled back Navya.
"Aur abse aunty nahi"Sugandha held her by shoulder "tum mujhe Maa kehke pukarna"
"Thike Maa"said Navya.
She sat on the sofa to find Mohan and Anant going out.As Mohan went out, Navya called Anant.He stopped there.
"Haan bolo Navya,paer mein phir dard ho raha hain kya?"Asked Anant as he sat beside her with a concerned look.
"Nahi Anan ab nahi ho raha aur mujhe tumse kuch bohut zaruri baat karni hai"Said Navya.
"Haan kaho"said Anant as he notices a worried look on her face.
"Vo aaj jab mein office vapis gayi apna purse lene tab..."She told him everything.
Anant was shocked listening to it.
"Maine kabhi nahi socha tha ki Soniya iss had tak gir sakti hai"Anant said with disgust.
"Anant I have an idea, taaki hum is Soniya ko expose kar sake aur vo phir tumhe kabhi blackmail na kar sake"said Navya with an understanding look.
"Navya, am sorry ki maine tumse ye baat pehle share nahi ki"said Anant with a guilty face.
"Itsok Anant"said Navya as she placed a hand upon his hand "Tumhe mujhe bharosa haina"
"Mujhe tumpe pura bharosa hai"said Anant as he places his hand upon hers "Batao plan kya hai?"

It was evening time.
"Wow Anant, maine kabhi nahi socha tha ki tum mujhe yu bulaoge milne ke liye"said Soniya as she sat infront of him in the CAFE COFFEE DAY restaurant.
"Soniya, uss raat humare beech kuch bhi nahi hua tha, mere paas iska saboot hai"Anant shot up a look at her.
Navya came from behind, showing her the CD.
"Ab kis baat ke liye tum Anant ko blackmail karogi Soniya?"Asked Navya folding her arms with a side smile.
"Wh..what ye kya hai?"Soniya asked fumbling getting up from her chair "Tum kaun ho and this CD is fake okay I know"
"Am Navya and really Soniya,you think its fake?"
Anant gave a smile to Navya as he knows she was defending him in full force.
"Dekho tum..."Soniya was fumbling away.
"Ab tum sach bol rahi ho ya mai iss CD ke saath police station jau, tumhe pata hai ki blackmailing and harassing is a crime aur ye CD dekhne ke baad tumhe kuch dino ki jail toh pakka ho jayegi kisi shareef ladke ko fasane ki usko mentally torture karne ke liye"said Navya aloud making her shiver.
"Huh..okay calm down I admit maine jhoot bola tha, uss raat kuch bhi nahi hua tha maine ye sab Anant ko paane ke liye kiya tha"Soniya admitted looking down.
"Ab agar tumhe apni naukari pyaari hai toh dubara kabhi mujhe fasane ki koshish mat karna"Said Anant looking at her angrily.
"Ya I promise, please iss bare mei Om sir aur Mohan sir ko kuch mat batana"Soniya pleaded and left from there.
Anant thanked Navya for making him get rid of this problem.
"Vaise Navya"Anant looked at her "Iss CD mein sachme kuch tha kya?"
"Tumhe sachme lagta hai"said Navya with a witty look and both giggled.
They came out of the restaurant and started walking.It started raining.
Navya beamed with joy as she loved rain.She twirled happily like a kid.
Anant was mesmerized in her beauty.Suddenly he saw a truck coming in full speed.Before the truck could hit her, he was quick enough to push her along with himself.They fell down behind the bushes.Anant was on top of her and was scared to death.He hugged her and buried his head near her neck.Both were getting wet.Navya heart was beating at a fast rate in fear and she could also hear his little sobs.She quickly pulled him to see his tears in his eyes.
"Agar tumhe kuch ho jata toh main khudko kabhi maaf nahi kar pata"Said Anant as he held her cheek.
Seeing him in tears, she had tears in her eyes as well.
"Kyu meri itni parwah karte ho,Anant?"Asked Navya as she held his hand which was holding her cheek.
"Kyuki.. bohut pyaar karta hoon tumse..I Love You" Confessed Anant looking at her.
They continued to stare into each other's eyes without moving a bit from their present situation.
