Why do people consider Ranveer as 'honest'

He keeps going on and on in interviews that he is an outsider when he really isnt..
and for all the wears his heart on the sleeve attitude and openness, he lies about seeing Deepika when its blatantly obvious that they are together

So where is the honesty that seems to be one of the biggest reasons for his off screen appeal

remember he was the one who went to town claiming he had "Loveria"...I think its because he doesnt try to be someone else...and he really is an outsider...no one helped him to make it..he did struggle...and its not like he grew up with any of the stars today, minus maybe Sonam and Arjun but there really any pictures of them all together when they were little...

though he claims he's not with Deepika, he goes out with her freely to events and all that...its not like he runs away when they are photographed...

he waited to get the right roles..he's been around for so long and yet he's had very few films to his credit..sad how at one point, roles were being taken away from him to give to bigger stars...but now they all know he's good competition...

either way, he's the best of the new lot today..at least, thats what I think 😉 and I hope he stays the same and continues to rock..hopefully we will get to see more condom ads featuring him 😆

I dont buy the outsider thing..no outsider gets two chances to be cast in a film..his grandmother was an actress and he is related Anil Kapoor and co..yes they didnt make a movie for him but not acknowledging the connections he has doesnt make him an outsider..its a well cultivated image that he is working to his advantage..

i dont deny that he is good competition..he waited around because he could afford to wait for good opportunities thanks to his bw links..an outsider usually would not take that risk..or get as many chances..

he definitely is one of the few to look forward to as future of bw, just that his off screen persona that appeals to so many..is based on hiding the truth and yet he is applauded for honesty..oh well what an irony

I guess you are right..him being goofy and outspoken does add to the charm..but why confuse it with honesty..because that he is not 😛

yes ..he tries too hard to prove he is an outsider and I guess thats working aswell..most people in real world dont know about his grandmother being an actress beacuse he has made a conscious effort to not let it be known and many dont know about Kapoor connection as well..

As for me..the more he does his outsider jaap in interviews the more it annoys me..😆

today's age, no one will cast anyone unless you are a star kid...as far as I know, Ranveer was no star kid...the Kapoors didnt even bother to launch Arjun so why would they randomly help Ranveer...

about him being honest, I don't know..I have never thought about it and have never read anything of the sort...but I was surprised when he cried the minute he got his newcomer's awards and the things he said about his sister was nice...

he's goofy, yes...I never thought I would actually like him, but I do...I think it was Tattad Tattad that did it for me...can't deny though that he was perfect in his first film..

Um idk about honesty but it's not completely his fault that he can't admit to his relationship with Deepika..after what happened with Ranbir she has become wary about sharing her personal life with media and apparently it is bc of her that Ranveer has to keep a diplomatic stance
