Why do people consider Ranveer as 'honest' - Page 2

I like him a lot, but I have been disappointed by some of his interviews lately.

Most will disagree, but instead of lying you could chose to be silent if you don't want to talk about something. He denies the relationship, but no one believes him.

He is a big fat liar.

Well, nobody's saying he's honest. Just that, he is more honest than others 🤣. And when you bring such topics, it automatically adds to the authenticity of his honesty...because you might be the fan of another actor who is pissed off that ppl call him honest. Jealousy never works, my friend!😆

First of all he is not an outsider, is here because of his family.

2ndly his fans says he is honest about his relationships but he isn't. he dated anushka, cheated on her, is now dating deepika, never confirms it yet his fans calls him honest.

Just because u don't like him doesn't mean he has cheated Anushka. There is no evidence they dated, forget cheating... come up with better logic and points next time before writing nonsense.

Nobody is honest in bolllywood. He is not diplomatic so people think he is bit more honest than others. whats' wrong with that?

He doesn't try too hard to be anyone. SRK never wore neon shirts neither is his acting like SRK. Neither he has chosen films like SRK during the initial years.
He has a potential to be a superstar and when someone has that potential, he generates more hates, skepticisms like he is generating now.

i dont deny that he is good competition..he waited around because he could afford to wait for good opportunities thanks to his bw links..an outsider usually would not take that risk..or get as many chances..

he definitely is one of the few to look forward to as future of bw, just that his off screen persona that appeals to so many..is based on hiding the truth and yet he is applauded for honesty..oh well what an irony

Your last sentence applies to everyone in the industry and noone is honest. So, don't apply it just to Ranveer 🤣. And he is not an outsider compared to SRK or Akki; but he is much more an outsider compared to Ranbir or Varun. Sometimes, you have to analyse things relatively to understand what does outsider tag mean in his case.

Ranveer is mor of an outsider than others becuase he does not belong to a filmy family that can pass him the torch. Yes he does hav connections and ranveer has never denied that, but it wasn't like his father or mother cud hav gotten him a place in a film. Ranveer was just in the right place at the right time and got recognised by the right people, just listen to his story and u will know.
Now if u look at armaan Jain, that is wat u call a filmy kid, his whole family supporting him, many people in the industry backing his film.

In terms if being honest, no actor or actress in bollywood is honest becuase they hav to hide things bout thier personal life. I guess people find ranveer a bit mor honest that others, coz he is less diplomatic.

@Crystal there is no evidence to how ranveer and anushka broke up, they still won't say whether they even dated.

Problem is his fanbase loves his goofyness. That's his onscreen persona; offscreen he is a serious guy and we twitter fans know his serious side becoz he communicates with us. I don't think he will want to lose his fans who like him as how he is to gain few fans who might like many other serious actors... I am a very serious kind of guy and i don't like ppl who talk too much but i like this actor because he is the only one who is like him in stale elite bollywood... he is bold, he is funny, he is redefining what an actor should or shouldn't do... that's likeable.
