Any previous actors and actress who you honestly thought would make it big but somehow they didn't and you're still kinda shocked about?

Can only think of two names right now. First is Mahima Chaudhary, i honestly thought she had it all...the looks, great smile, face, body...great acting skills..an awesome voice, great dancing skills. I used to love her voice the most lol

Second is Dia Mirza, but that's only based on looks...I think shes the best looking thing after Aishwarya Rai...but I just realized that I've never seen any of her films...can she even act? Oh wait...Does that even matter? As if its a requirement..😆..really surprised about her!

Esha Deol - How can someone with Dharam Paaji and Hema Malini's DNA not succeed. She looks nice, is a classically trained dancer. But zero presence and rather boring. IMO being her parents daughter who were rather spectacular individually and together hurt her than helped her.

Abhishek Bachchan - Did not expect a bigB, but certainly expected bigger than what his career is actually. He has some rather good films

Tanisha- How can someone with Kajol kind of DNA and background have zero talent. LIke terrible. Kajol is such a tremendous actress, Tanisha is beyond awful.

Vivek Oberoi - He is the Ben Affleck of BW for me. Superb talent, but personal life made career tank at it's height. What could have been.

I'm shocked that Dharmendra never won any awards.

Source - he said it himself during some recent award ceremony where he got the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Not shocked but surprised definitely.

after KNPH and Gadar, I thought Amisha would at least go somewhere. she faded away.

Amrita Rao - more than shocked I am sad for her. She is such a stunner. wish she could have been successful. she has all element in her to be making it big in BW.

next has to be Shahid. his career graph is such a disappointment.

Jimmy after Mohabbatein.. he became popular, I felt he is here to stay. but alas.

Deewanapan or something with Arjun Rampal
Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd
Rehnaa Hai Tere Dil Mein

She is okay. Nothing great in terms of acting but she is beautiful. A very underrated beauty.

I thought Abhishek would make it big considering all the people who were gushing about him post-Guru. I really thought he would be like in top 5.

Ameesha Patel- I thought she would be unstoppable post Gadar

Mahima and Dia as you mentioned.

When I watched Miss India 2000- I was assuming PC and Lara might not work as they lacked the conventional good looks (required at that time) where as Dia had a face which guaranteed movies no matter what, she was the first one of them to get movies and she had like 3 releases in 2001 where as Lara and PC came much later in 2003. Producers definitely had Dia in mind out of the three and seeing promos of RHTDM I was certain she is the next big thing but bipasha debuted with ajnabee and stole the thunder

Diana Penty- I thought she has it all and with cocktail being a hit I was sure she would make it big

Late Jiah Khan- When I watched Nishabd I was like she would be the next Urmila and then I heard she is doing ghajni also chance pe dance etc and I was certain she would be the next big thing- never in my dreams did I know she would no longer be here at such a young age RIP Jiah!

Asin, Diana Penty, Madhoo (Roja star).

Akshaye Khanna, Rahul Khanna and Vivek Oberoi should not have ended up the way they did.

As you wrote, Mahima Chaudhary was a great complete package. She often looked like Rani Mukherjee during her KKHH or HDJPK days. I loved her. She looked awesome in almost all her films and I really enjoyed her song appearance in 'Tere Naam'.

From the current I thought Diana Penty would make a mark.
